I hate arsenal and chelsea...Dont care for Utd or Lpool either...but sadly one of those 4 teams will win it this year.

I actually think Arsenal will finish 4th this year with the top 3 being ranked in any order (although im sure lpool will choke).

Keane!

Liverpool now have an attack that should rival the best of them.

Also, their new kit is a bit of a throwback to the grey kits they wore the last time they topped the premiership. Fate is on our side.

You'll never walk alone.

as for the turf at BMO. I've walked on it. It feels JUST LIKE real grass in terms of give and shock absorption. Fuck these nancies who think they're going to get hurt.

Oh and Fuck the Argos. Stay our of our house.

Man united is going to win the premier. Barcelona will win "la liga" and Real Madrid will win the Champions league.

I can't wait for this weekend and the year of the "Blues". I'm also extremely happy to hear of the re-signing of Lampard too.

Looks like the TFC have lost Edu who's heading to the Scottish Premier League to play for the Rangers.

Meh, Edu was overrated and really didn't strengthen TFC's midfield. It's not a big loss at all.

hahahahahaha!!!

This is hilarious! I don't know what to make of Rangers' scouting. Mo had his moments, but CLEARLY showed that he has a LONG way to go before he becomes as good as he thinks he is.
My words may be harsh, but they are very true.

Like i didn't dislike him on TFC, but he really was still WAYYY more a project than proven player.

I actually don't mind this news at all. I don't think his absence will be noticed.
Edu=Hype...

fuck.

Laurent Robert got waived by TFC. IMO, this is a stupid move.

I honestly don't know what to make of Mo Johnston and Carver anymore. especially Mo.

Anyways, I always had a soft spot for Robert. I may as well spill the beans as he is heading out of town now: He lived in my building. We shared a few really nice exchanges in the elevator too.

I realized that he was past his prime, but hell... Robert was still one of the top 5 players on the team skill-wise. Damn. I'll miss him.

On a bright note: Canada and Jamaica is tonight!!!! Let's GO reds!!!

I don't fancy, I agree the Robert was one of the more skilled players on the squad, but he looked slow in some of the games and really with this team lacking to score from well everywhere, I understand the move. Plus, the signing of Johann Smith is an awesome move and a very underrated one at that.

Mo and Carver have a vision and I trust them. And that's a cool story.

ya - i know he wasn't tearing up the league, but damn for a team with a huge issue with depth, i just don't get this move at all. I hate it.

Carver, i still have trust in. but Mo, my patience is wearing thin. so many questionable moves in my opinion. I'm losing faith. - haven't completely lost it yet, but.....

I look at it this way, if we're not winning the league and Robert is holding up a spot for potentially a younger player to step in, what do we have to lose?

So, who managed to watch the Canada Jamaica game yesterday?

I was there and this was easily the most electrifying and crazy live sporting event that i have EVER been part of. My voice is all fucked up from all the screaming and singing.

As fun and intense as the game was for the spectators, it was clear that result wasn't deserved. Canada was certainly the better squad. They really gave it to the jamaicans and if it wasn't for a ridiculously stupid mistake by Onstadt (canada's goalie), then we would have had our deserved 3 points. The cross bar shot by DeGuzman close to the end had us all in disbelief. In only....

Also the refereeing was pretty suspect. I'm so fucking sick and tired of bullshit CONCACAF and reffing that clearly favours the Carribean sides. It's frustrating and deflating as hell to watch oposing players always fall to the ground during a 50/50 challenge and have the call go against Canada. I don't know how it came across on TV, but in person it really looked like the ref was "influencing" the outcome a lot more than he should have.

Bring on Honduras and Mexico.
Go Canada!

So France lost to Austria today in WC Qualifying 3-1. In other news the Italians got extremely lucky beating Cypurs 2-1 in extra time.

Crazy times indeed.

England just squeezed by Andorra 2-0 with two late goals from Joe Cole.
