I mean, before Schweinsteiger came in Fritz too did alot of good things to create opportunities with crosses for the Germans.

I don't think your giving the Germans enough credit Bel. Mistakes aside, the Germans could of had 4 or 5 goals instead of just the 2.
I probably dont give em enough credit individually, Im never been a big fan of germany either But as a team, I think they are coached to play efficient more than flashy football. Wich is good. I would say Spain and Germany are two teams that usually have similar quality. I would say spain has the edge individually and germany as a team. What team has the titles? germany, cause the play not as flashy but always smarter and tougher.

I love it .... Italians getting their asses handed to them so far.

The Dutch's mid-field is pure dominance. Kuyt, Sniejder and Van De Vaart and fantastic.

I thought Ruud was past his prime but he's played very well so far.

FORZA HOLLAND!!! lol I love them. Too bad Robben is not there. It would be the whole Real Madrid offense scoring. Van Der Vaart is awesome, not letting Pirlo play and starting the offense.

Second half should be really good. Italy is capable of winning this game.

Not if they continue flopping with every possession they get. Freakin' ridiculous.

Sneijder is rapidly becoming my favourite player too. Too bad he didnt find his spot so easily with Real.

hehe Italy got a taste of their own medicine Italy definetly deseved a goal. 3 -2 would have been a just score. As much as I hate them, they didnt play that ugly football today.

Spain - Holland would be the final of my dreams.

You're right, they didn't play that bad at all today.

But what pissed my off is when Italy had about 3 great scoring chances on one possession, only to have Netherlands counter the other way and score to make it 3-null

tell that to all the teams eliminated in the penalties by the Italian team when the other team has played great and Italy has just played with 10 players in their own field all game long lol

Hahahaha!!
I'm pretty sure the Scottish fans would disagree with that statement as they were screwed by the ref. in the final qualifying game with a pretty blatant pro-italian, game deciding call.

Apparently Van Nistelroys goal was legal because Panucci was out of the field braking it or something like that. So the goal was legal.
