No I didn't watch liverpool / Viola. Right now I'm too busy watching Juve down 1-0 to Ajax. Juve look lost, don't run and have no organization. Story of the year only ADP and Diego are asked to create and GIO sits on the bench wasting talent ggeeez

As for Viola, best coached team in Serie A IMHO. Their were rumours they were going to get Cassano but it did not happen. Too bad

2-1 Juve. Pretty good result on the road. We be ripping through the Junior Cup.

Liverpool still scoreless at the 60th

1-0 end result.

just caught the last 20 minutes.

It was totally one sided, but Liverpool were having a hard time getting past the defense.
Bah. i don't really care about this tourny.

Earlier i was under the impression that the UEFA winner would qualify to Champs league based on that, but i don't believe it's the case anymore. Hence, i don't care about UEFA at the moment.

No Europa just gives you a trophy that really doesn't do much. Heck I don't even think teams get all that much money for winning it either.

Personally all I want Juve to do is make it to a CL spot and just reload this summer. Thats the first priority but I guess if you can win a cup u do so right?

Same here man. If it was up to me, Liverpool would just field a young squad every Europa match and put 100% of their focus on finishing fourth in England.

Hard to keep players and obtain transfers without having a CL spot. Its all about progress more than anything. I'm not really happy with Juve's Transfer Guru's but at least they have been getting young talent. So I guess its all wait and see.

Ya 4 but the 3rd and 4th seed have to play into the CL. Serie A better get its shit together or they just might lose a spot

Hey DVS, how do you think Juve have played so far this season??
To me it feels like they started off red hot and then they just fell apart.

Well Juve are playing to their capabilities. They are a team relying on old guards. Without Del Piero and Camoranesi this team is garbage. They aren't deep at all but do have some world class players (Chielini, Buffon), great potential (Diego, Marchsio, Candreva, Giovinco, Caceres, DeCelige) and some decent pieces. Its hard to say if I'm mad or not because its been a short time since they been Serie B but I'd love to see a new head office Blanc and Secco have godda go.

Camoranesi should be back soon and Juve is practically healthy now so I expect them going on a run with the new coach.

They're actually pretty close to losing a spot to the Bundesliga. The top four teams in Serie A are still strong, but they certainly have been slipping.

I think Juve's players are playing well below their capabilities. For one, Diego is absolutely a world class talent, along with Buffon and Camoranesi. Sadly, I'm aware of Del Piero's persistent abilities and even Giovinco is a quite a talent who should continue to improve. In addition to that, Amauri is a great talent but he has been struggling.

In terms of the Europa league, the team I follow (Hamburger SV) need to get through PSV and should be very leery of Juve if they make each team makes it through. The final for the Europa league is at the HSH Nordbank arena in Hamburg so I'm hoping the addition of Ruud Van Nistelrooy was enough to put HSV in that match.

Camoranesi has been injured most of the year, Giovinco has hardly seen the pitch and Del Piero was injured early and just recently has been coming back to form.

As for Diego how can you really play well when your the only playmaker on the pitch. Juve has had injury problems this year and have noone to replace their spot. They are really thin and really its due to an accelerated rebuilding program.

I really don't think they have been playing below capabilities. Well maybe a tad just because of poor coaching. As for injuries everyone gets them especially when you have old guards like Trez, ADP, Camo, Cannavaro and you also have Amauri and Iaquinta who seen the injury table.

Juve is a pain you have a world class playmaker in Giovinco just rotting on the bench. I really wouldn't blame the kid if he demands out.

As for being Leery of Juve. I really dont' know how the coach will treat the Europa cup. He has already stated his one and only goal is to reach a CL spot. So if he feels their is conflict I'm sure you'll see a second unit hit the pitch at times.

As you said, every team has their fair share of injuries. Though, guys like Del Piero, Camoranesi and Cannavaro will play up to form when they're on the pitch. It's not that Juve has a poor team this season, it's that teams like Inter are just a bit better in terms of depth and potentially even coaching, Juve just underwent a change a little while back right? In Diego's case, he's used to being the best playmaker on the pitch. Maybe not the sole playmaker, but at Werder Bremen he played alongside Frings who wasn't exactly the most creative of midfielders and Diego was exceptional. He even won Bundesliga player of the year in 2008. It seems as if he's not being utilized there, and you may be right that he doesn't have a formidable partnership in the midfield at Juve.
