I'm not a fan of the deGuzman signing. Well, I'm not a fan because he's getting the DP status. I still think they need a bonafide striker who can actually be a threat every time down the pitch.

Also, how does this team not know how to defend against the cross? They get so disorganized in the back. They need to fix that asap if they ever want to be considered true contenders.
Man, I been wondering the same thing. It seems like the team has never heard about "marking your man"!

lol, ive been saying it this whole time, Milan is garbage. They have to be willing to spend, wtf did they do with the 65 million they got from madrid lol. This team is full of people past their prime with the exception of Pato.

Tough luck today fancy, but you gotta admit Liverpool played like shit. Chelsea definitely deserved it today. Drogba is amazing. WOW.

How they let San Jose score I'll never understand. That entire back 4 needs to be changed.

ouch Argentina actually did it in the end and qualified. Maradona is one lucky SOB.

Croatia is out..Thank you! You screwed my England for Euro and now we get the last laugh ha-ha. Sorry Croatia fans, i kinda feel your pain but also don't care lol. EVIL! Muhahahahahaha

A big BOOOOO to Portugal for making it to the playoffs. You know they want Ronaldo at the world cup!

Slovakia make their first world cup so congrats to them!

So far these European teams have qualified for South Africa 2010:

-Denmark
-England
-Germany
-Italy
-Netherlands
-Serbia
-Spain
-Slovakia
-Switzerland

The PLAY-OFFS teams:
Seeded: Russia, France, Portugal, Greece
Non-seed: Ireland, Slovenia, Ukraine, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The draw will take place on Monday for the home and away matches between a seeded and non seeded team.

It's going to be an interesting set of 4 matches (or 8 sorry).

Here's a listing of the qualified countries to date:

some odd results for sure. Still can't believe some of the countries which are eliminated already. Czechs, Sweden, Croatia... and probably some other big soccer countries won't make it out of the playoffs. crazy.

the Argentina qualifying campaign was a bit ridiculous. I was kinda hoping they wouldn't make it, but i don't really care either way. I'm totally hoping Portugal don't though.

Now come on you French bastards. Do me proud and play like you're capable of!

Croatia hasn't qualified. Ukraine beating Andorra today cinched it. The fact that they beat England at home on the weekend crushed us. The fact that we outplayed Ukraine there and at home yet never finished the games, is what killed us.

I'm cheering for Ireland. It'd be nice for a smaller nation to make it through.

lol. Ya i hear you fancy.

I think this is shaping up to be a great world cup though. Just have a feeling its going to be a great set of games (excluding the part of it being in south africa. They shouldn't have gotten these games).

You know, i just didn't see anything magical with this Croatia team for this qualification period. I think a change of coach might do you guys some good. Inject a different mentality into the game.

Would be nice to see Ireland back in the world cup so that England can beat them and send em back to Dublin for a few pints of Guinness lol.

Jokes, honestly it would be cool to see them there. They played very well against the Italians the other day (who yet again make it into the world cup looking like MEHHHHHH at best).

Would love to see Cameroon and Nigeria make it to the finals.
