Liverpool wants 30 million pounds, Real only wants to pay 30 million euros apparently. They say it will get sorted pretty soon or nothing will happend.

finally. I am dissapointed that Xabi wanted out, but he gave us 5 good years (well four really - he was shit two seasons ago). Anyways, i hope Rafa squeezed every last penny out of Real and i am looking forward to seeing who is going to come in now.

Apparently Rafa is close to roma's Aquilani (i've heard good things about him). I've also been hearing a lot about David Villa recently. that would be fucking epic. VIVA ESPANA

BTW. I must re-proclaim my hate for Real Madrid again. Looking forward to some verbal jousts with you this season Belsius.

I didnt know where to post this and decided instead of subject a thread to it, i'd put it under this soccer thread because its a soccer related video.

IF you can't handle seeing soccer injuries DO NOT watch this. I feel terrible for the poor guy to have to go through that...

That is just disturbing. Gotta be one of the worst freak accidents I've ever seen.

hmm... i'm curious to see this injury. will have to wait till i get home though.

BTW. the mighty Reds have agreed to terms with Italian Alberto Aquilani. I know italians have a hard time playing in EPL, but this kid seems to have a very good pedigree. I have some pretty high hopes for him.

That's awful. And a terrible, terrible tackle. At least he looks genuinely remorseful.

Good buy. I'm a big fan of Aquilani, and i'm not sure there'll be much of a dropoff from Alonso.
