Basketball running is different from soccer running for me. I like to run in basketball because I know I can with out screwing up. I am also very interested in basketball, where as when I was playing soccer, I spent most of my time either helplessly trying to catch my breath, or daydreaming.

I find ways to be good at basketball without being graced with the athletic ability that many basketball players rely on.

I make up for that with my sweet stroke and passing ability

Well, I suggest if you want to play in HS, esp. in the Junior/Senior level your get used to being able to run at a high level.

Ya, I realize that. I'm thinking of joining the school cross country team for the first time this year to get my agility up.

fuck.

We really needed Guevara last night. Vitti was made to play that role, and it wasn't working. I still think we can get past PRI in Puerto Rico, but we will need our best players. Attakora, Serioux, Guevara, etc.

I kinda blame Frei on that goal. If you're not 100% SURE you're gonna get that ball then you stay back and let the defence handle it. It didn't enter that dangerous of an area, he was too agressive. He paid for it. The defenders though didn't bail him out when they could've. Brutal, brutal goal.

Can somebody please explain to me how the MLS all star game works? Why don't they do East vs West? Or even just split up the teams. Why do they play a european team?

because the MLS is a very young league. This way people can see how certain players in the MLS fair against teams that have storied pasts and great histories.

It's really a simple concept. I don't know why you don't get it.

personally i find all star games boring and unnecessary.

That game last night was so frustrating. TFC dominates the whole game, makes one mistake and it costs them. Nice to see O'Brian White get some minutes. Am I the only one that now hopes that Brian Edwards gets some time between the woodworks?

Fancy, I ended up sitting like 8 rows behind you. And the Scotch egg did not disappoint. It was delicious.

Also to add to fancy's point, brining in an EPL team brings in $'s as footy fans will flock to see an EPL team.

On a sidenote anyone watch the Spurs/Hammers game last night? Is it me, or did it West Ham look incredbily disinterested that game.

Fucc another costly and stupid mistake by the defence costs the FC a game AGAIN! Could've used Serioux and Guevara last nite
I was impressed with White-showed a lot of composure when under pressure from PR. Isn't he only like 18!?

Hey Bel, What's the word in Madrid about the Xabi transfer possibilities? I'm hearing that there is likely to be a player coming back to Liverpool. and the names i'm hearing are Huntelaar or Negredo. Don't really know much about either.

Ive heard it might be Negredo or Van der Vaart.

Negredo is a really good attacker. Great scorer, fast with a very strong body . I dont know if he would have enough room with Torres there. Similar style but not a sissy like Torres.

Van der Vaart is worse version of Sneijder, attacking midfielder, great shot. Decent player.

Huntelaar is like a very young Raul (not nearly as good of course)or Morientes. He lives in the other teams area. He can score and thats it. In not a big fan of this kind of players.

If I was Benitez I would go for Negredo for sure. He is very young and already has the killer instinct. With that body he will do very well in the english league.

If i were madrid, i wouldn't be too keen on giving up negredo. He is still very young and talented. Although it wouldnt be a bad move either as they have benzema, raul and higuin. Huntelar though would lower the transfer fee for Xabi by a substantial amount. Liverpool dont need Klass since they already have Torres.

Heinze is going to Marsielles
What a crappy player. No top tier team deserves a left-back like him. He had a few highlights this season, like when he took down the liverpool player in the CL which lead to a free kick and a goal and when he scored an own goal.

I loved the 07/08 Heinze when he wasnt injured but I have to say that he had a terrible season this year.
