Love Chelsea, and Benzema (Lyon) lol.

And I think Essien is a better holding midfielder than mascherano. but it's debatable.

Mascherano is better, De Rossi is arguable and Xavi is also better. Fab is also better. Essien is good but not great.

Felipe Melo looks like hes going to Juve.

and sturridge... I think him and kalou will be the next thing. As much speed as Eto'o/Henry atleast. and both under 23?

promise for the future of chelsea.

Canada beat Jamaica 1-0 to start the gold cup.

Nice goal by new TFC signee Ali Gerba.

TFC castaway keeper Greg Sutton was really good too.

Sturridge looks like a good future piece but I got a feeling he's just gonna be wasted talent on the bench. I hope I'm wrong because Ancelotti has a good record of developing young players into stars.

sure thing. ive got a season ticket and watch when their away games are on the telly so i'll keep you updated on the blades and on the championship in general.

many people consider it the best footy league in the world because its so competitive and any team can do well or horrific. nothing is set in stone.

It's strange because i think your reaction is the same as that of reds supporters (for different reason mind you). I guess united fans were hoping for someone with working limbs.

I know it's a low risk / high reward signing, but it just feels weird to have Owen play with United. Oh well. fuck him.

he'll get one hell of a reception at Anfield if his legs hold up.

Julian DeGuzman might sign with TFC

De Guzmán podría jugar en la MLS - MARCA.com
Quote:
De Guzmán could play in the MLS
This offer is higher than those offered by the other clubs interested in his services.

Julian De Guzmán services at Deportivo ended June 30th, the day his contract was finished. Before this contract offer, the Canadian midfielder was in negotiations with different teams. Besides already known interest from several teams of La Liga, especially Espanyol, and Hamburg of the Bundesliga, De Guzmán has a contract offer from his country.

Toronto F.C of the MLS has contacted the agent of the soccer player and has realised an almost irresistable offer from the club of his native city. This offer is superior to which was offered by the other clubs interested in taking control of his services. In Liga, the Espanyol de Pochettino has been interested, even negotiating for weeks on a contract. The midfield player is concentrating on his selection to the [Canadina NT] and playing in the Gold Cup, played this month in Los Angeles.

On a real note, the Championship looks like a very competitive league this year. I dont think you can say there will be a clear cut favorite which i what i love about the championship.

Year after year its getting more and more competitive which is fantastic. Thats what real football is all about!

This is pretty fucking insane. 90000 people went today to see the presentation of Cristiano. Florentino is simply a genius of merchandising.

In the minute 4 you can see the whole stadium.

Gradel is a good player man. Im not sure what the contract situation is with him but i'd love to keep him around.

I wish the championship games were broadcast more so over here. They do show some on setanta canada but thats it.

Im stuck with buying the yearly passs online to watch higlights!
