His name is Mario Ferri, he is banned in Italy to enter the stadiums until 2018 because he did the same thing twice before in Italy-Netherlands and Sampdoria-Napoli games.

Well many agree with him. Cassano deserves to be a part of the Azzurri. Too bad he punched out Lippi's brother at a bar

Now that you mention it, Schweinsteiger's hair did look more bleached than it does now. Anyways, still a terribly tasteless thing to do (actually maybe moreso because it would have been after a final), but hopefully the Spanish players realized that it was douchy of them.

As for the fan on the pitch - reminds me of a documentary i watched recently about streakers/jumpers at sporting events. It was a pretty good film. My favorite guy they focused on was a dude who called himself "Jimmy Jump" from Spain. He was a big Barcelona fan and in the movie they showed him leading up to a big 'jump' in a classico match some years back. I generally found him to be an interesting yet simple guy. Bel, have you ever heard of this guy?

I had dutch beating spaniards at the beginning. I think thats pretty good and hope the dutch pull it off. I really think the have a shot if they disrupt spains game plan. (what an obvious thing to say hehe)

That was a fantastic game to watch.

Forlan, to me, has been the player of the tournament. He stepped up and that shot at the end, just heartbreaking.

Germany will win a championship with this squad.

haha are you serious?

No doubt Spain is a good team, but other than the last game, they haven't looked as good as they should have all tournament long.

Netherlands to me have been just as good as Spain throughout this world cup and even for the last couple of years (taking qualifications into consideration). It's really anyone's game.

Jose Maria Garcia-Aranda, FIFA's head of refereeing, said Saturday that a study of the 62 matches played so far shows that referees have gotten 96 percent of the calls correct. Garcia-Aranda labeled the officiating in the tournament a success, and not because of opinion but due to "facts".

I love watching soccer but man I hate the garbage FIFA spews out.

Enjoy the game everyone

had to laugh at that quote as well

the officiating at this world cup has been deplorable imho...and don't get me wrong, i'm not blaming the actual refs, i'm blaming the archaic system the the FIFA uses
at the very least they should include 1 more ref and 2 goal judges

Spain has taken a bit to find their legs and system during this tourney , but i feel they are peaking at exactly the right time

but who knows ...anything can happen i guess
