Now that the last matches will be played, if you are wondering what will happen when two teams have same points here is the rule:

Quote:
a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches;
b) goal difference in all group matches;
c) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches.

If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three criteria, their
rankings will be determined as follows:
d) greatest number of points obtained in the group matches between the
teams concerned;
e) goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams
concerned;
f) greater number of goals scored in all group matches between the teams
concerned;
g) drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee.

I think USA will be the first in the group, the funny thing is now Germany can be second and we can still face Germans..

If we somehow avoid Germany in the second round, quarterfinals is not that hard..

Even playing against Brasil in Semi's will be highly possible..

England doing what they do best. They're great players individually, but so far they just haven't been playing as a team. Well they did OK against the US, but that Algeria match was horrible. they looked worse than France for the most part. And you can see the problem just getting worse. PLayers are bickering with each other, they're not playing with fire; they are slow and uninspired.

Their play was as bland and drab as their kits hahaha. Honestly they look bad. Especially the golf shirts. Maybe switch it up and put on the reds.

Either way Capello needs to do something to change the atmosphere big time. Rooney and Heskey just aren't working. Heskey simply isn't good enough for my liking and Rooney has been dissapointing. Lampard has been shit. Gerrard was pretty bad last game too.

The funny thing is that i don't know why, but i started pulling for them this time around. Maybe it's me. I'm the kiss of death to soccer teams.

To switch gears up, i like what i am seeing from the USA team. I saw the replay of the game yesterday and to say they got screwed is an understatement. If they don't end up advancing, it will be a serious injustice (well depending what happens in the last match). I am liking Donovan more and more.

Just as i speak Australia score by way of a gaffe by the Ghana keeper. He would like that one back i gather.

that and the jabulani ball really has played its part in ruining this tournament. thanks adidas.

penalty yes, but why the red card?!

Totally unintentional in my opinion.

Australia is getting SHAFTED big time this tournament. Why is refereeing being such an issue.

just awful.

Nicolas Anelka sent home after bust-up

Quote:
France striker Nicolas Anelka has been sent home from the World Cup after reports of a bust-up with coach Raymond Domenech during the Mexico game.

Anelka missed training on Saturday after reports of a row with the France coach during their 2-0 defeat.

Anelka, who started both France's World Cup games, insulted Domenech at half-time, according to L'Equipe.

He was replaced at the break, but France's hope of qualifying from Group A is out of their own hands.

If Mexico and Uruguay draw in their final match France will be eliminated.

This score is not good for either team IMO..Both of them handed out the second place to Sirbia with this score..

In order to go to next round Gana gotta get at least a tie from German's which is tough..

For Aussies, eventhough they win against Sirbia it'll be tough for them to fix the Goal Difference coming from Germany game..

Germans will be 1st, and Sirbia 2nd IMO..

Which is good for USA team..If USA can secure first place we'll beat Sirbia IMO..

Yes that was beautiful. Nothing like a Real Madrid reject scoring goals in the world cup
