This year I'll be the captian of my 7/8 varsity basketball team. I'll probably be either point guard or center (confusing isn't it
)I play squirt baseball (windmill). I'm a utility player, don't really have a position. I would be on a soccer team but I suck at running ![]() Last edited by Dark Knight; 07-16-2009 at 09:48 AM. |

I only played basketball in school and recreationally, never with a club or anything.
Nowadays I cycle quite a bit and I play soccer once a week. Not with a club anymore. I played tennis for a few years too. |

in the softball league i'm in i'm the youngest person in it (16) and they stuck me in left field because they were just like "you're young we'll just put you in as a filler" when my natural position is 2nd base.
and i don't know if i should try out for soccer, i haven't played since i was like 12, but i was playing with my friend whos the provincial hackey champion and he told me i should try out. |

I play just about everything haha..
On a regular basis I play: Ultimate frisbee, softball, squash, volleyball. Get in the other racquet sports sometimes. I sub in when teams need me for basketball. I don't really have time to dedicate to it and the guys I play with are just better than me...And I'm all about playing big minutes or else I don't get a good workout in. Hockey and soccer are the only things I don't play. I'd love to play more soccer. I just haven't had much exposure to it. |

My older twin sisters were tennis freaks, and they tried getting me into it when I was younger. Trouble is, I'm in a huge soccer/hockey town, there's hardly any interest in basketball and NO, I mean NO interest in tennis. It would've been a great sport to play though! I tried squash with my uncle before and found it pretty fun.

![]() I played everything growing up but as I got older and started running out of free time I focused on hoops. Was probably a better baseball player, but I didn't enjoy it as much. |

Is avoiding annoying neighbours while doing yard work considered a sport?
Because if it is, I'd be World Champion. I don't have time for anything anymore. Hockey, baseball, tennis, basketball...I barely even have time to go to the gym and lift. |

If I run on concrete (sidewalks) I feel it almost instantaneously. Asphalt is more forgiving because of the give when heat hits it. Typically I try to run on gravel paths as the give is better than asphalt and it doesn't hurt my knee nor my ankle and doesn't put as much stress on my ligaments. Also, I make sure I have the best footwear possible. I love the running room. Actually, I just bought the new Saucony Hybrids plus the new Hurricane model. |
