Westbrook Released By Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles release Brian Westbrook - ESPN.

Love Westbrook to the fullest and wont forget him. Its funny what injuries can do to your career. Him and LT are now freeagents.

:sigh:

one of my favorite eagles of all time...

some team is gonna benefit from this....when the guy is healthy, hes an absolute beast...but his health has always been an issue...

i hope he does well, where ever he decides to go..

but as a eagles fan, i think this is good for the team....the youth movement is going around, and in a couple of years, we will be scary good....

Yah and Weaver and McCoy will probably split time at RB. Weaver is a beast but I dont know about McCoys ceiling and theres no way he will ever be as good as westbrook. Westbrook could do it all.

Always question why Westbrook was on the field for that second concussion. Oh well never really know.

Antonio Pierce also cut by the Giants. Once a very important part of their D now gone

Mccoy is very similar....

he's super quick, very slippery, is an excellent at catching the ball, good rout runner and unfortunately is injurey prone :sigh:...

hes got a really high ceiling, IMO, and he doesn't need to do all the dirty work that Westbrook had to do because he's got weaver playing alongside him in the backfield, which should help avoid some injuries...
