Volleyball

Anybody play it in high school?

I tried out last year and just barely got cut. Came back this year and according to the coach I really improved (although I didn't do any training or anything... lol) and earned a job as the starting setter. Apparently that's a pretty important job.

I was on the grade 9 and 10 team in HS. We won Ofsaa in grade 10. I loved volleyball. Great sport, used to also play pretty much every lunch period in the gym.

Thanks bro, you won OFSAA? That's crazy.

Next year we get a bye to OFSAA because we are hosting. Should be interesting.

Volleyball is a great sport.

I started playing when I was 8 or 9 and got pretty good at it (had a coach along the way that was a real stickler for fundamentals), but alas the lure of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll was more powerful than that of athletic pursuits.

Mehhh, i prefered Sex drugs and sports. lol

But yeah, i always enjoyed volleyball. But imo if your an athlete and love to compete i think you can enjoy almost any sport. Hell, i was even on the mix doubles badminton team in grade 11. Mainly b/c the girl that asked me to be her partner was hot. lol But it was fun.

Nah, volleyball is a fun sport to play. Watching it isn't my cup of tea, i rarely watch it. But to play, it's a great sport. And i don't know if you've ever played beach volleyball but that isn't easy.

Have you guys ever heard of 4 court volleyball? We play it all the time in gym, it's spectacular.
