SOB!

The two guys at the top are coming back down to the rest of the field.

If Mikey didn't have such a crappy day yesterday he'd be right up there with them.

Thank goodness FIGJAM is +2 for the round.

Did you really think "Mikey" stood a shot in hell?

Well, jeez it's not like he's ever won a major tournament before.

Did you really think Ricky Barnes or Lucas Glover stood a shot at winning before the tournament started?

Mike Weir had his moment in the sun (5 years ago) and he just isn't that consistent. Now, any golfer can have a great weekend and surprise. But when he was ahead a few days ago, i looked over at a friend (Weir fan) and said "how long will that last", and he said.. 'til tomorrow!

He may win another major, but i doubt it.

When the heck did you win a major?

So we shouldn't cheer him on then?

Lots of guys go through peeks and valleys in their careers.

As for peaks and valleys, he's basically had one peak!

Nice edit, bud. Your original post said...I may never win another major.

One peak?

You mean the last ten years where he's won 8 tournaments and had 64 top ten finishes?

By the way, he, Tiggy and FIGJAM are now only three shots off the lead.

The two leaders *choke, choke* are starting to wilt.

He's had a really nice career..... and he's in the hunt for the US Open. What do you want from him? Not everyone can be Tiger Woods.

I agree he's had a nice career. But it just seems like every couple years he starts a tournament off well near the top of the leaderboard and Canada all of a sudden pays attention. Then after day two he's 8 shots back and he drops off the map. I just think if this guy was british or something we'd look at him the way most outside of Canada looks at him.......he's ok and has had a nice career.

So we should not get excited when he does well and pretend he's not Canadian?

We should just ignore him all together?
