Agreed. The funny thing is Mir/Nog sounds like the main card but it isn't. You have Griffin / Evans as a main event and heck you could problably even put Silva / Rampage on a main card on another UFC.

I totally agree the December 27th UFC is by far the best UFC in a long long time

Agreed x1000000!

Ive been waiting to see Quinton fight again since that tough loss and his apparent mental instability afterwards, i really think he is going to destroy Silva.

For some reason i think Mir will somehow win and set up a huge Brock rematch in which Brock will win, i wouldnt be shocked if Nog wins tho and i wouldnt bet on this fight.

Im done doubting Evans, he has lost me mucho dinero in the past and im not betting against him again, new champ!

Penn already lost to GSP once, this time it will be a statement win like he had over Serra IMO.

I do think Lesnar will beat whoever he faces next.

U are kidding right?

Brock is very susceptible to submissions ...and Big Nogs skills on the ground are 3625436 times better than Mirs. Not only that Nog can take a beating and keep fighting like nobody on this planet. He is probably the most durable fighter in the history of mixed martial arts.

If you want to see the "best case scenario" of Brock in his fight against Big Nog, watch Nogs fight against Bob Sapp. He was getting everything from powerbombed, piledriven into the mat, folded in half, everything. And see what happened to Sapp.

No man has ever finished Nog. Fedor fought him twice to a decision. Cro Cop couldnt beat him. Herring almost knocked him out once .... but lost 3fights to him decisively. Tim Silvia almost knocked him out 3-4 times in the last fight ... then the fight went to the ground and he got tapped in 30seconds.

Nogueiras age is catching up with him, but I still dont see Brock beating him.

This is why I wanna have your babies Saucer....

Listen to the man... Nog. is the real deal. Brock has potential but he'll NEVER be a good submission guy... he's all athleticism... and with only that he won't beat Nog. unless he gets REALLY lucky.

I guess we're gonna have to wait and see.

I'm taking Brock over Nog.

Funny Dana White continues to hold press conferences in Toronto when the Ontario Athletic Commission are a bunch of Dinosaurs and still don't validate MMA fighting.

This fight will be just too sweet. Last fight saw GSP having a broken nose after the first round only to fight back in what was one of the best MMA fights I personally ever seen go the distance.

Wasn't a knockout or anything but you want great UFC knockouts I'll show my personal favourite of all time

Nate "The Rock" Quarry vs Rich "Ace" Franklin

If Quarry was ever gonna be a star in the UFC Franklin made sure it wasn't going to happen

Ppl will look back at Lesnar one day and say "how did i underestimate this beast?".... if Herring can almost KO Nog, im sure Brock can simply do it, one punch style, and lord knows Nog takes a beating even when he wins, i respect Nog and i could see him beating Lesnar now, but not in a few years, and i can easily see him being KO'd, forget all the BJJ talk, Lesnar is training strictly for two BJJ guys, and im betting once the fight goes to the ground, if Lesnar isnt in side or full mount, he will simply stand it back up, where i believe he has a distinct advantage, as Nogs standup is questionable.

Ahh you could be right. I hate Lesnar though. He has no style he is just a big pantload IMHO. Lesnar may beat up Nog I really don't feel that the case but we will see. I still say Fedor is the best Heavyweight in the world and now only if Dana White and the Zuffa boys will finally break down and pay him to fight

Lesnar has potential and he could be great but he's to cocky, I just don't see him concentrating on being a great technical fighter. He might do the same thing he did with wresting, he thought he was the best and could go anywhere he wanted, he fought in Japan, while he was still under contract, and he got fired by the WWE

Lesnar doesn't have good standup.

He's just huge and fast. That's it. He has NO skill in submissions and almost no skill in striking. No kicks no bob & weave no nothing.

Nogeuira has fought the absolute BEST that MMA has to offer and prevailed. Putting Brock ahead of him is insulting.

Jon Fitch out of UFC? Say it ain't so Jon

http://mmamania.com/2008/11/20/dana-...ame-agreement/

Quote:
“We’re looking for guys who want to work with us and not against us, and frankly I’m just so [expletive] sick of this [expletive] it’s not even funny. Affliction is still out there trying to build its company. Let [Fitch] go work with them. Let him see what he thinks of those [expletives]. [Expletive] him. These guys aren’t partners with us. [Expletive] them. All of them, every last [expletive] one of them…. I’m not a douche bag and I do a lot for these guys, a lot more than any of you will ever know. We’re in a horrible time in the economy now, and every guy with two nickels to rub together is making a run at us. We’ve worked too hard, given too much, to let certain guys come in and [expletive] with that.”

– UFC President Dana White fumes via Yahoo!Sports.com about the situation that went down earlier this evening surrounding the release of Jon Fitch for not signing an agreement that would give the promotion exclusive lifetime video game rights to his name and likeness. White appears to be most heated about the management team that represents most of the fighters out of American Kickboxing Academy (AKA), Zinkin Entertainment. In fact, he says that with the exception of Chuck Liddell, Mike Swick and more than likely Forrest Griffin (who are also represented by Zinkin Entertainment) that other top fighters such as Josh Koscheck and Cain Velasquez are also possibly on the outs. “Kos,” as of press time, is still scheduled to headline UFC Fight Night 16: “Fight for the Troops” on December 13. However, after reading these comments who knows what the future holds. This is madness.

Update: White was on “The Carmichael Dave” radio show and had this to say:

“No, no, no. It has nothing to do with an agreement. It doesn’t have to do with Jon Fitch either. I like Jon Fitch. I’ve never had a bad word with Jon Fitch. The problem is with the idiots that run AKA. I won’t use any names; the idiots know who they are.”

Clearly, according to him, the issue goes much deeper than the video game deal

I would argue that Randy is much more of an MMA legend then Nog, and if you ask Randy, Brock hits hard, real hard.

I love Randy more than maybe anyone else here.... but there's no way you can say that if you've ever seen Pride.

BTW theres some NUTZO Fitch fans out there, Dana Whites wiki page was hacked earlier today (has since been fixed) here is a snippet of the pretty funny hacking...

Born in Douchebag, Connecticut, White grew up in Las Vegas, Boston and Levant, Maine. He attended University of Massachusetts, Boston for two years before dropping out to work as a gay whore.[1]

Dana White appears on the June/July 2008 cover of Gay Monthly magazine. He has appeared on every single issue of this magazine. In 2009 he plans to release a feature film of himself taking over and letting pride go to his head.

He has a third degree black belt in Tae Bo and brown belt in sucking off young boys.
