I dunno you did for a brief time say how much basketball players love this city and go to Carabana and all.

I guess I misread your position

No, i said that. And some have, and many have said they love the city. Let's face it, it's easily one of the top 10 cities in the NBA. I also stated that winning would attract more players here, but liking the city and wanting to play here are two different things. The weather, tax misconceptions, and the losing contributes to it.

you keep on saying that, but i'll just repeat what i initially said in that NBA players don't agree with you.

They don't agree that they like the city, but are reluctant to play here for various reason, losing being at the top of the list? Ok, my bad.

But that in all cases, winning will change that imo.
mostly due to the fact that its warm when they live in Toronto. After the season is over they just head south. The game is also has a large amount of non US players that have a more favorable view of Canada.

i'd say burke. he's the only really facing expectations. other than that, i'd say baseball general managers probably have the toughest job. their organizations and impact runs a lot deeper into the minor leagues. basketball would be the easiest, by far imo.

Yep, plus no real salary cap in place. When there's a salary cap players pretty much know what they're going to get. In Baseball it comes down to who pays. The Jays can spend, right now the issue is will they?
