Default Tomlinson released by Chargers

Quote:
The San Diego Chargers released running back LaDainian Tomlinson Monday afternoon.

Tomlinson played nine seasons in San Diego, but at the age of 30 and with declining numbers, Tomlinson has been anticipating his release for the past month.

Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised to see him in either New England (you know Bellicheck likes to pick up his RBs on the cheap), Oakland (simply because he has star power - and you know AL Davis likes Star power) or Buffalo because there's a connection with the Bills new GM (having previously been in the Chargers organization for awhile)

good call mango... as soon as i heard he was released, the first team i thought about was NE. theres no better place for former stars to re-capture their game.
perfect place for him, IMO.

I could see him on the Eagles if Westbrook is done
Giants also didn't have the same RB trio as the previous year
Packers are the sleeper team, could see him on the team cause Grant is up and down

Houston might go after him seeing as they don't have much faith in Slaton anymore.

they still have Foster and Brown if they're not FA's
plus, I dont think they give up on Slaton, only 2 years in the league and was a very good rookie

Foster and Brown don't have shit on Tomlinson.

They gave up on Slaton last year. Shit, they had Ryan Moats and other dudes starting ahead of him. The NFL is a league where it's what have you done for me lately?

Hmmmm..... I wouldn't mind seeing him go to the Colts to actually give them a running game again.... IF he's still got it.

Colts have Addai and Donald Brown. Dont see them going after a 3rd RB

So how about explaining to everyone why he would sign with the Argos?

Furthermore, why would the Argos sign him, seeing as they were just were sold to David Braley, who also owns the BC Lions, and that the Argos are losing money hand over fist?

westbrook is set to be released sometime today .....but still, i dont want LT....

mccoy needs as much carries as he can get...kid is an absolute stud...he will fill westbrook's shoes very well...and we already have weaver, who himself is an excellent 3rd down back, he has the size and strength of a full back but is super quick...all we need to do is convince Reid into running the ball more...and were good....

love LT, but i dont want to see him in a eagles jersey...packers, you can have him
