Default TNT pre-game/post-game

I know we have a sports radio thread, but this is a little different.

Am I the only one who's sick of it? I'm so tired of hearing the stupid banter, the inside jokes, the 'chuck is fat' lines. It's becoming lame.

Yeah, I know everyone loves Charles, but the talking heads is becoming too much for me. I watched before, but now, I just skip it entirely.

Am I the only one?

I like it... but I'll just add that the addition of Shaq doesn't do much for the show (not great at speaking/ low pitched voice). too many commercials/ads to get some sort of flow.

If you want more basketball talk ESPN has a new pregame show in a simlar style with Magic, Wilbon, Berry and Broussard

but the ESPN show has more "basketball talk" compared to TNT's entertainment factor.

I really enjoy the TNT pre and post. It's better than anything we get in this country by far. Charles is awesome.

I saw a commercial over the holidays, he was doing some Jenny Craig or weight watchers add.

i like the personality they bring to the table. as much as they get off topic, it's far better than watching the extremely boring fact driven tsn panel.

Does TSN even have a basketball panel?

i love the tnt crew. ej, jet, chuck. shaq isn't analyst material, i wasn't a fan after watching his first segment. also, i think he has too many beefs with players still in the league. what happens if he does a heat game and starts refering Bosh as rupaul? lol

I liked C-Webb more than Shaq to be honest. Like Windex said, his voice is too low-pitched. You have to turn your volume all the way up just to hear what he's saying. He also tends to shy away in their big basketball discussions. Ernie has to constantly spoon feed him opportunities to speak.

i don't mind Ernie and Charles...can't stand Kenny

Shaq is being misused imho...he doesn't suit be stationary behind the desk...i would much rather see him on the sidelines pre/half/post game...kind of like Tony "Goose" Siragusa
just feel it would be a much more natural environment for him

Shaq is a mumbler, always has been. Isn't C-Web on NBATV now?

looks like he's back on the sideline now. I remember he was in the booth a couple years ago because of an injury.

All they do is talk about the Lakers, so who cares?

I still like it, but they are starting to rest on their laurels and are getting a bit too formulaic and repetitive.
