I saw a quick interview with Jesper Parnevik (the golfer who introduced Tiger to Elin) too and he didn't seem happy lol.... said that he THOUGHT that Tiger was a "good guy" when he introduced them... and that next time Elin should use the driver instead of the 9-iron. hahahaha....

Acie might be right (about him being awkward with girls before) but I find it hard to believe that he didn't have any groupies at Stanford. He was a big deal even back then before he went pro. He should have had SOME experience with tha ladies.
Thank. You. ToRap.

I fuckin' hate cheaters.

(Sorry, but there HAD to be a chick statement here at some point, right?)

Where are people getting the idea that I said it was ok? I didn't say it was ok, I'm just saying why are you making a big deal out of what an asshole this particular guy is when lots of other people are doing.

Further lots of people that don't do it, WOULD do it if they were provided the "ideal scenario". Ask people straight up and they will tell you, dream scenario, they would cheat! The rest of them are lying.

I've never cheated on anyone and I've been presented with the opportunity. Each and every opportunity is different and one might end up nabbing you. I don't believe ANYONE is immune to cheating because we are governed by our emotions.

You can laugh when you shouldn't, cry when you shouldn't, get angry and act out when you shouldn't. Somehow you feel it will be different than when you get overwhelmed with attraction?! Get off it!

If you truly believe that you would never cheat under any scenario, you are kidding yourself!

Famous people get way more proposals for cheating and sometimes they get one that ensnares them.

Oh and don't "chick statement on cheating" B.S. GIRLS ARE BRUTAL when it comes to cheating. EVERYONE sucks... Stop sticking up for your side and just realize and accept the truth of the matter. PEOPLE CHEAT.

The world of pro sports is vastly different than the world us regular folk live in. I forget where I read it, but the percentage of baseball players who cheat on the road is something like 90%. You get the wife to stay home and take care of the kids which gives your life the outside appearance of being "legitimate" and "moral", while you have girlfriends in every town you travel to.

that could be true, but a lot of pro athletes aren't married
its a totally different life traveling 60 times a year

thats why it would be smarter to settle down after the career

i was talking about this with a co-worker today... she was all in a hizzy about how she's disappointed with Tiger and that she thought he was a good guy, and i just laughed at her.
why isnt he a good guy anymore? because he was attracted to another human being - other than his wife - and he acted on hormones?
he is still the same guy, he just got caught.

guys are horny 100% of the day... if a hot girl offers it in the right situation, the majority of guys will cheat. its not about cheating per se, its about sex. getting off, if you will.
I dont particularly see it as cheating, its more like masterbating, and using a woman's vag as a masterbating toy, really.
so any normal dude who's waking to internet porn - is that cheating? why not... he's stroking it to another woman who's not his wife or gf right?
so what if tiger hooked up with this girl and just jerked off while she danced for him, would that be cheating?
its the same damn thing.

its not cheating, its masterbating with a human toy.
i cant hate the guy for being horny... he just needed sex, and probably wasnt getting it at home.

It's impossible to cheat or get burned when you don't play a game. I've always laughed when the last few women in my life have tried to take me seriously.

Who are they kidding? Sure as hell not me.

My lowest point in my life was when I actually took some particular woman seriously - big mistake.

Dating and marriage (especially marriage) are completely absurd to me.

I see women as a kind of play-thing or a means to reproduction, so other than those aspects, I find it very difficult to relate to and respect their values.

Yep, I am wise.

Yep, I am wise.

I wouldn't call that wise, I would say that you are unable to make a proper emotional connection with the women you date.

Unless you don't have any attachment to your male friends either.

In which case you don't form an attachment to anyone...Which I don't think is a good thing. I wouldn't want to be your friend in that case, that's for sure.

I've dated women I don't care about and I've dated women I care deeply about. I understand the contrast but I don't know why it would be good to NEVER care. You're missing the best part of it.

I know it sounds lame, but fucking is all well and good but it won't give you longterm happiness. Just until you get horny again. Personal relationships will enrich your life.

I disagree. While I do believe that human beings are battling - in varying degrees and in different ways - to stay monogamous, some find it very easy to do so.

I never really consciously tried dating, but I have met quite a few women over the years who I got involved with sexually/romantically. I always got the feeling from women that I was being manipulated by their feminine charms, by their measured praise, and by their guilt tripping. I think evolution produced women as specialized at manipulating men into doing what the women want.

I am generally friends with people who are serious about philosophy, and who are interested in non-attachment and liberation from the human condition. There are such people out there believe it or not, but not too many.

I have no doubt there are some very warm feelings and a sense of security that can come from such relationships, but I can't help but think there is a serious "price to pay" for such cozy mind states.

Metaphorically, my mental state is like that guy on the discovery channel, surviving by himself with limited means in some really hostile environment. I like the rugged individualism.
