I like Lisicki too ... she has a great shot. Top 4 men are playing solidly ... should be a terrific day of tennis tomorrow!

Trying to introduce my daughter to the joys of tennis today ... Fed. vs. Tsonga is amazing and Djokovic vs. Tomic is superb! She seems more interested in her bottle though ... can't think why.

Tsonga comes from two sets down and knocks our Federer. Great match.

Wow. Has Fed EVER lost in a Grand Slam after having a 2 set lead?

I'm speechless right now.

Can't think of any time ... even Rafa hasn't done that to him.

It was one heck of a match.

Might just be Rafa versus Novak in the final yet ...

Nadal still amazes me. He had 7 or 8 unforced errors the whole match. He had 4 of them in the first set, but even in that one he made Murray hit so many more shots than he should have needed to. Murray had to maintain such a high level of play, and when he started to go a little easy while riding some momentum, he boobed and fell apart mentally and physically from there. The dude is so disciplined. I haven't felt like he should win anything outright all year, but he's got another shot to win a big one.

... and all with a busted and numbed up heel.

That was an impressive performance. Here's hoping he can repeat it on Sunday.

We shall see. If this goes to a fifth (please let it go to a fifth), I give Rafa a bigger chance to win it.

Djokovic has more or less become Nadal. Nadal had so many more errors than usual, but of course that is what he has done so many times to others. When you can not only get to shots that should be winners, but make tough shots to handle off of them as well, it's going to make for some mistakes.

As much as I'd have liked to have seen another title for Rafa, I find this pretty exciting. I really want to see how Rafa responds with some fresh legs and this new impetus to push him to get even better. These two guys could have something really special for a few years. The men's game is just at such a high level right now. It's fantastic.

Agreed.

I can't even begin to express how happy I was to see Novak win that. Nothing against Nadal... he's a great guy and he's definitely deserved all of the success that he's had, but it was getting boring seeing him robotically destroy every one in his path. This was the first time in a long while that we've really seen him get pushed to the limit in a major. The first time that we've seen him falter against a player who could match all of his strengths.

Watching that 2nd set was just shocking with the way that Novak played. That being said, with the way that Nadal played in the 4th I was almost expecting him to come all the way back.

This makes it what? 5 straight times that he's beaten Nadal in the finals of a tournament? INSANE.

I can't wait for the US Open.

Is Drake dating Serena Williams? He's at the match, and they were saying they've been spending a lot of time together?
