OK, spoke too soon. Hope there's nothing seriously wrong with Novak's eye.

Yep - I keep going back to the quality of these matches. Show me any other player that has destroyed so many opponents mentally after they've competed so hard and so well.

Seriously. It's looking to be anther Rafa-Roger classic tomorrow. Unless Djokovic can pull something out of his rear end.

So Rafa and Federerererer out in straight sets. It's up to the usual bridesmaids to finally have a shot at the big bouqet. Murray and Djokovic. Should be cool to see. I hope Nadal gets himself on the mend fully rather than going through another long stretch of difficulties.

Murray turns out to be the eternal bridesmaid. Out in straight sets. A lot of one-sided matches down the stretch.

Milos gets his first ATP win! Downs Verdasco in straight sets in the final!

Looks like the kid has some SERIOUS talent.... Verdasco was in awe of his serve.

Can't wait to see what he can do on the "fast courts" of Wimbledon and the US Open.

Milos Raonic makes another ATP final only to lose to Andy roddick. I caught parts of it and the kid went toe to toe with one of the world's best players.

I believe he's now ranked 37th which is the best any Canadian has ever been ranked and he is still a baby relatively speaking.

Canada has arrived!

I saw the last set, and from hearing about the rest, he really should have won the match. He played too conservatively, though it was smart to, to an extent. If he could have managed the drop shot he wins easy. Just couldn't take advantage of his chances.

I handed over baby duties to my husband so that I could watch his Aussie Open matches ... he was incredible.

The final against Verdasco was brilliant ... and then to go beat him again a few days later in the opening rounds at Memphis was ridiculous (Verdasco seemed pretty sour about it ... ).

The final against Roddick was just excellent ... he's a little like Roddick, I think, with the powerful serve and groundstrokes but, unlike Roddick, he is trying to develop his all-court game early in his career, which is completely and totally the right thing to do.

I'm looking forward to this tennis season for sure.

True. I liked the way he was mixing his shots up ... good for him for trying to give his opponent different looks. He did really well in the tie breaks, he really stood his ground and delivered the goods when he needed to. Taking advantage of his chances will come with time.
