blah blah.

Been there and done it, and live with a pretty high level personal trainer. ALL sports are following the same concepts now.

Body types may differ, but overall body health and fitness is by far the goal of all pro athletes.

And no, professional Soccer players arent bottom heavy.... goo look at some photos on google.

so you're telling me a cyclist doesn't develop different muscles than a basketball player? or what about a linebacker compared to a winger in soccer? please.. different sports, different muscle groups used, and hence, more developed.

oh and fyi, I watch enough soccer games a week to know that in fact, they are bottom heavy. one of the main reasons I had to quit was a lack of leg strength. with the running they have to do, and the shot power they require? again.. please....

That's like the league I'm in. Theres a site that has players ppg, free throws, 3 pters, 2 pters, standings.

No fantasy draft though, you get on a team from knowing someone or through open tryouts.

Where is this league? How competitive is it? How competitive are the players?

His league sounds way more competitive than the one I am playing in.

I'm interested as well. Well, I'm interested in any league I can find as it's kind of hard to find leagues. Haven't played in a while though.

you guys ever have to adjust ur jumpshot after weight lifting? I got a lot stronger after lifting and my shot has changed a lot. My range is basically extended to the college 3 point line but consistency is an issue now because the shot has a lot more power

yes but it's never a big deal for me. I'm back to my sweet sweet jumper within a few hours of shooting

So when i was young and handsome I was a starting PG in the high school team in Lithuania. The closest comparison to my game i can think is Mike Bibby, (I love passing the ball shooting 3's) Once I was good, but now my knees are busted (damn air alert!) so can't jump all that much or brake ankles anymore. My shot and court vision is still there, but I'm just a shadow of former self

I need a sports psychologist. I'm shooting 38% from the line in 14 games. I miss men's leagues where they don't record stats.

Or "big and black" (honestly not meant to be racist), just reality.

Me and my buddies did "hoop it up" a couple years ago, and not sure how they let this happen, but there was team full of 25-30 year old tall black guys in our division, and they just spanked everybody. It was kind of ridiculous, and was obvious they lied about their ages, hell one guy had a kid in the stands im pretty sure.

I played this past year at some highschool by paying to rent our their gym, about 10-12 of us, each payed 10 dollars each time (Once a week) and had full court games going on from 6:30pm-9pm and usualy some people didn't show, so you would be on the court for the entire 2 and half hours, it became so physically exhausting, but I kept going, we hardly ever took breaks. We had music blasting as we played too, the gym was pretty much ours lol.

Didn't sign up for this years though which starts this January, because I'll probably be in Texas.

If we get it going again when I'm in town you should come ball with us

Due to some scheduling that's happened here at work, I'm likely to find myself with some time on my hands tomorrow. I'm likely to be at the good ole Hoopdome for a couple of hours (11-1ish) just to shoot around. I love when scheduling conflicts happen like that.
