I don't know if you guys (or H-taz) saw this... but this is (for me at least) the best story of the olympics. By a lot.

Mathias Steiner is his name. His story leading up to the games is pretty incredible and tragic. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but i strongly urge you to all view the clip on CBC's video page

Go to sports: find weightlifting - and look for the 11 minute clip. It should be the first one.

I saw it yesterday ... it was amaaaaazing! I am also not ashamed to say that I shed a few tears while I watched it.
