Little too late if you ask me Hoops ..... considering our defense is horrible right now, I don't think we can contain Sid, Malkin and Hossa.

Look for Melnyk to blow up this team this summer. An underacheiving season and a first round exit isn't going to sit well with him.

Hossa is Mr. March of Dimes himself, Sid the kid is coming off a high ankle sprain, so the only guy you have to watch out for is Malkin. And Pitt's goaltending isnt the greatest either. This series is going to be much longer than most people think.

Fisher has to come back. He's the catalyst for the Sens. They can go without Alfresson, but I think Fisher is the guy that makes the Sens go.

What's hurts even more Hoops is the fact that our second best penalty killer in Chris Kelly is out too. I'm hopeful, but at the same time I don't want to get too ahead of myself either.

Probably, but it's more fun talking smack than admitting that they're dead in the water.

The Bruins look about as good as their cheerleaders. NOT VERY!

muhahahahaha.

I think the habs will do well, but remember y'all: It's a lttle harder when you're missing your captain. Here's hoping PRice can copy the playoff success of other Habs rookie goalies. namely Dryden and Roy.

Anyone see TSN's playoff preview yesterday? It was disgustingly, ludicrisly awful. Was rushed, then they all picked the favorites in every match and then all but Duthie the same finalists (San Jose and Pittsburgh). No personality. No real thoughts. And that monkey looks like it's 100 in monkey years. I hate TSN!

They're all on crack. Everyone knows it's going to be Anaheim and New York in the finals.

Seriousley....not a chance.

Anaheim will be out in the first round only because Dallas beat the Ducks in the season series by 2 wins. Not only that, but I can't see, especially in the new NHL, seeing back-to-back cup champs. Last time that happened was I think 1996-97 and 1997-98 by Detroit. But even that was a while ago.

As for NYR, I would bet $50 bucks they will get past the Devils only cause they were 7-1 against them this season. But then they'd have to play mighty Ovechkin and his Caps.

As for me, my final four pick would be OTT-WSH and CGY-DAL.

Jesus ... it ain't over, but things are not looking good for my Sens. Absolutely terrible tonight. Gerber did a great job, our defensemen didn't.

Looks like Volchenkov is gone now too. Took a Malkin slaphot point blank in the face. Blood everywhere on the ice too.

BTW, nice game by your Rangers, Hoops. Devils were no match for them tonight.

Tough break for Volchenkov, Doc.. if he's lost too, this series will be done in 3.
And poor Gerber. The only reason why it was just 4-0 and not 9-0 was because of him.

As for my Rangers - didn't get to see any of the game, but they toughed out a road win - they need to keep the pedal on the metal, cause the Devils aren't 3-time cup winners for nothing.

3 for 4.. not bad. I never would have anticipated the Dallas win.

You would think after the Stanely Cup finals last year vs Anaheim the Sens would really try and win it but I guess not
