The Leafs should have never traded Rask for Raycroft

I'm not the biggest Hockey fan but being in Calgary I do support the Flames. I think while they're doing ok right now , once playoffs hit it will be the same old as they get knocked out early.

Thinking Pitsburgh and Chicago are the ones that are gonna do real well.

it's funny... suddenly the Leafs are looking pretty good (comparatively speaking that is).... and i think you know who i'm comparing them to.

It's weird. I never thought that in what was shaping up to be their worst season in recent memory, i would actually become more of a Leaf fan. It's weird, i was totally falling out with hockey and the leafs before, but now i'm getting more interested, actually watching some games, and enjoying what i see.

Well, even when they were losing, the Leafs were competitive most nights (OT losses).... and were pretty much guaranteed to give a 100% effort. Hard not to cheer for a team that is working their butts off every night.

And Kessel is the real deal. Great trade by BB.

Bad luck with the Monster and his heart problems though

just looking for the Leafs to improve throughout the season and the playoffs should come in the next 1-2 years with the addition of the players in the minors
Leafs put forth a good effort every night and the games have been entertaining

They need to lose. They are screwing up the Bruins draft picks.

Jackasses!

Kessel is indeed awesome. Kind of takes me back to when i used to watch the Leafs when i was younger and you'd have Gilmour (and to a lesser degree Clark). With Doug on the ice you could just see the difference in skill, and pretty much whenever he had the puck in the offensive zone you could see him scoring or causing a good chance.

I'm also looking forward to Kadri next year.

It's really a shame that we don't have another first rounder this year though.

not everyone can be a finesse or offensive player as we've learned with a certain team

The Leafs at least show some heart, unlike the Raps on most nights

Yeah - i just heard he's going to have an ablation procedure to fix his arrythmia. I didn't know Jonas had a heart condition (again i've been a bit out of the loop when it comes to hockey). that's crazy. I'm sure he'll do well, it's not an overly risky procedure.

Good luck Monster.

Jonas should be alright in a while, don't wanna mess with the heart but the kid's a monster so he'll be playing in a few weeks.

BTW, MacDonald playing well tonight vs. CBJ

I just read about the heart condition, and from what i read does this mean that doctors are going to remove pieces of ____ around his heart? that's pretty scary..
