Pittsburgh is a bit vulnerable and CBJ works hard and can skate. Best thing to happen for them is they are believing now.

Islanders almost beat Pitt last year, I think the Jackets have a pretty good shot at beating them unless Sid goes into god mode

Agreed. The players feel like they can play with them and should with their play so far. I would say out of the first two games, there were only 2 periods that Pittsburgh won. Sadly, they dominated in those periods.

They're the better team but CBJ can beat them if they play their game and have Bob show up at goalie. Just got to keep getting the puck deep, hit them, and most important stay out of the penalty box. Need to keep it 5on5.

I'm happy already with the series, and if they keep playing like it. I think CBJ are 1-2 year away from being where they can compete with the best of the best. Young team. This year they're doing it without Nathan Horton(out for pretty much whole year due to injuries), who was supposed to be one of the top guys. So hopefully next year we get the old Horton back.

Just hope Sid doesn't get hot.

Rangers up 2-0 on Philly right now, St Louis got his first playoff goal for the Rangers.

If Pitt doesn't get anywhere, they will likely need plenty of change. Maybe radical change to role players, and definitely goaltending. They are wasting their opportunity with those studs. But likely the coach gets fired first.

Note to self: Don't take a 3-1 lead in this series.

I know it was a close game but did CBJ get outplayed?

41 shots for the Pens compared to 20 for the Jackets.

Blue Jackets were only outplayed for one period, just like every game this series. 3rd period was all Pens, and I mean all Pens. That is the only period the Pens own the CBJ.

First two period, CBJ was doing great and playing their game. Pens were getting a few more shots but not great looks. They scored with 1.8seconds left tho in the 2nd period to make it 2-1. That was a momentum killer.

Then the 3rd period started, and Pens dominated. CBJ got a lucky goal(bounced off CBJ palyer) to make it 3-1, and then Pens tied it up by dominating. Pens took the lead on a lucky goal to make it 4-3(bounced off CBJ player). At one point, Pens were out shooting CBJ 14-1. Once Pens took 4-3 lead, they just cruise control till the end.

First period: Pittsburgh 16shots CBJ 7shots. Pittsburgh had 3PP to CBJ 0PP. CBJ lead 2-0 though. CBJ played great this period besides not staying out of the box. Getting into the box 3 times to 0 lead to Pens getting more shots but CBJ killed all the PP off.

Second period: Pittsburgh 10shots. CBJ 8shots. Even period. CBJ was hitting. Nothing going on. Like I said before, 1.8seconds left and Pens score a goal. That was a killer. Besides that, it was a great period for CBJ, just didn't finish the last few seconds off.

Third period: Pens 15shots. CBJ 5shots. Felt like it was worse though. Like I said at one point, Pens 14-1. They dominated. It looked like Varsity vs JV. Only period Pens outplayed CBJ.

The first two periods CBJ was the better team and Pens were frustrated big time. I think that first goal before the period ended, swung the momentum. Pens took advantage of that in the 3rd period. CBJ blew this game but props to Pens for taking control. That is what great teams do and they did that.

The Blue Jackets were down 3-0 and come back to win 4-3(Final score of all 4 games) to tie it 2-2 in the series. Wow. I can't even put in words about this game. Amazing

Thanks! Still don't know what to expect in the 3 game series now, but hoping for the best.

Would be amazing if Raptors and Blue Jackets can both win their series. I would be a happy sports fans, only seen one of them win 1 series and that was way too long ago. Time for both of them to add to that total!

I hope the jackets win too personally. I may be from Halifax but I hate Sydney Crysby, and I hate the penguins equally as much. So good luck to the jackets!
