Ben Scrivens just got traded to Edmonton. Kinda sucks for him going from a contender to Edmonton. He's from the area though.

Didn't watch the game, but i just caught the highlites on morning sports recap show. Looked to me like Subban was being a dick and some of the leafs noticed. They've put together a nice little run i must say. hope they keep it going.

i'll always sit down and watch a Habs/Buds game and last night was no exception...no matter what place these teams are in, it always seems to be a high intensity match-up
Kadri came to play last night...solid body check his first shift out...and an absolutely sick move (assist) on the first goal...he needs to bring this effort on a consistent basis
the Kessel/JVR/Bozak line is on fire...love watching these 3 play

support along the boards has been much better from our wingers but there's still way too many brain farts from our D...Gleason has been a nice addition

tied for 5th in the East but they've got company all around them...very important 4 game road trip coming up

this club NEEDS Bolland back...he'll make such a difference to the depth of this club

Anybody see the Red Wings goal to force it in OT? How lucky is that?

And how about them BLUE JACKETS!!!! Since Nathan Horton and BOB came back, on fire! Team has been injured all year long, now finally getting healthy. Looking really good. Still need to get Gaborik back but even without him they're playing really well. Ryan Johansen is a name to look out for, very good young player.

longest winning streak in the NHL at the moment (6 games ?)...they're looking really solid right now

Yep, 6 games(ties longest in franchise history). Bobrovsky has been great since getting back. 7-1 in 2014 for CBJ(that is when they got Horton back). Bob is 5-0 1.74GAA since coming back.

Right behind you guys(who are also playing well lately), #8 if the season ended today. Reminds me of how they played to end the season last year, and almost made the playoffs after a terrible start to the year(finished tied for 8th, missed due to tie breaker). But this year they're starting their run way earlier and future looks very bright.

I really do like this team. They're missing the *star* player but they have a lot of guys that fight hard and can find ways to put the puck in the back of the net. They're clicking together and it is fun to watch. Hoping to make the playoffs this year and get anyone but Pittsburgh in the first round.

Here is the Red Wings goal I was talking about

The puck hit the net, came back down off the goalie and went into the net. Should have been rule out of play once it touched the net. They review the goal but according to NHL rules, if a referee doesn't rule it out of play, the puck is still in play. So it was non reviewable. That tied the game with 32seconds left, Red Wings would win in a SO.

Stupid rule by the NHL that will most likely be changed very soon in the future.

It states if a referee doesn't rule the puck out of play, it is still in play and not reviewable.

So since none of the refs saw it hit the net and didn't rule it out of play, the puck is consider live and whatever happens afterwards, stands.

Doesn't make sense at all. Should easily be reviewable and overturned. But the NHL rule overruled a review there.

haha that is what I'm trying to figure out also. lol.

NHL taking a hit on this one though. That is a dumb rule that will need to be changed ASAP.

In the end, Red Wings get a lucky 2pts that they much needed right now. I hate Detroit! lol

Cody Franson is fucking awful in his own end. Bad play after bad play all year.

Bernier has been outstanding though.

Franson isn't the only one though ...saw Gardiner make a pass to a player in front of his own net last night...literally had me shaking my head

WAY to many brain farts from our D

they're all fucking doing it. Gunnarson is another one that has me in disbelief sometimes. And it's not like they only do it under pressure.... so many times they just gift the puck away under normal fairly regular moments in the game.

although i'm with stonezz that Franson has been brutal this year. Him and fucking Kadri were too bright lights last season and so far they've been massive let downs. At least Kadri has had some good moments this year.

regarding kadri I've done a big 180 on him from my prior undying support. He has totally disapointed me.... still there's a glimmer of hope that he can be a solid player. I'm holding onto some hope!

Kadri has played well the last few games. It's still only his second year in the league and he's on pace for around 50 pts. Not great, not bad.

another win!

Reimer looked really solid. He has been good this year and has been pretty screwed by management and Carlysle if you think about it.

6 in a row, feels good. Reims was good out there.

Gardiner had a BRUTAL turnover that resulted in a goal but it was an overall good game.
