Love it! Ever since Jarmo Kekalainen took over for the CBJ, he has really made some great moves on paper. People giving him a lot of props for his work so far in a small amount of time. Future looks bright for CBJ, for once!!! VERY HAPPY!!!!!!

Mac is a decent player, solid skill and creativity. Carlyle never seemed to like him though.

i'd guess Bozak will remain #1...followed by Kadi at #2, Bolland at #3 and McClement at 4

fairly solid down the middle now
my biggest concern is whether or not Nonis can beef up the bottom 6 thru a couple of trades...he has the assets available in the AHL...hopefully he'll get it done

with the lower cap and all these free agents signings, there will be a number of teams that will have to make trades...hopefully this is where Nonis swoops in and gets that defenceman or a couple of bottom 6 guys that i was talking about above

things are just getting started

I don't want to burst your bubble, but Horton is one guy I'm not sad to see leave Boston. He wanted out to make more money and play in a smaller market. Also, that's a lot of bread for a guy who kind of floats for most of the regular season and just has not been the same since he got hurt in the 2011 Cup Finals.

offseason shoulder surgery would be a major concern for me...probably won't be in the lineup till approx December

That too.

And he did just trying to push a guy off in front of the net.

i can't remember who said it...but i heard that his shoulder was popping out all thru the playoffs...not a good sign
hopefully he recovers 100% after surgery...but if i'm a GM, i'm certainly not signing him for 7 years considering his health history

Bobby Ryan got traded to the Sens. That sure helps relieve the sting of Alfreddson leaving.

Leafs are such a joke. All that money and years for a guy who has only scored more than 40 points once, and is nearly 30!?
