I havn't watched a full NHL game in over 7 years, and I felt devastated. I can only imagine how an actual Leaf fan feels.

Agreed...... at the same time, how this is all that surprising i don't know. It's the leafs afterall. Par for the course.

It would have arguably been more devastating for Boston to blow a series when up 3 games to 1. And more like the Canucks.

Goodjob Bruins, you bastards. Crazy comeback Bruin fans must be going nuts.

Brutal loss, and that is an understatement.

Poor Reimer. Anywho it would've been embarrassing had the Bruins lost given as how they had the 3-1 series lead. Bruins always play crazy game 7s like tonight, against Vancouver and against Tampa (still think Tampa would've won if not for playing with the media and how there were practically no penalties called during the game yet Tampa that year were like the best on the powerplay but oh well).

TML playing like Chelsea. Invite the attack and try to defend for 70% of the game and most offence comes from counter attacks. Problems is the Leafs aren't good at clearing the puck and limiting turnovers.

Still cant believe it. Leafs had that one in the bag and collapsed in the last 10 min. Felt surreal at the time

they were never in control of the game. the puck was in the Leafs zone 70% of the time. was just a matter of time before Boston scored goal #2 and 3 and 4

Disagree...To blow a 4-1 lead with just around 11 min left in game 7 when you are the away team, and having not been to the playoffs for over 9 years, that is a lot worse and a very hard pill to swallow.

I have given leafs fans here a fair share of hate, but even I was sad and close to shedding a tear after that debacle..

This city is cursed.

Hopefully that's the end of Phaneuf, had just about enough of his horrible play.

He scores one goal in game 6, and it should be all be forgotten?

He was a giant liability all series long, ALL...

Last night he couldn't manage to move players from the front of the net, he turned pucks over, and we all know what he did in game 4.

He's useless and overpaid.

With a 3 goal lead, and 11 minute left you should still win that game, whether you`re laying back or not.

I can't believe how disappointed everyone is. Who expected them to get that far? Who expected such a young team to come back from down 3-1? Sure, it's tough to lose a game like that, but I'm more excited by the prospect of leaf hockey than any time I can remember. So many questions about this team were answered, and I love the direction they are headed. We got out-veterened. Tough loss. But every leaf fan should be proud of that team. What a fun series.

I dunno I can`t get over the 4-1 lead with 11, and 4-2 lead with under 2 minutes.
