I love the fact that Blake has been on fire lately..... if he keeps it up, Burke should be able to find a taker.

Yeah, I think out of the 4 Alfie's the one who most likely isn't going anywhere and I kind of want him around. He's the team in my opinion and when healthy the best overall player still on this team. My guess is either Spezz or Heater's gone maybe even sooner rather than later.

That he is Wu..I think Burke can find a sucker for that contract. Actually, Blake isn't that bad. He's got a ton of speed to burn, but he needs to play with real playmakers to recapture that glory.. perhaps to Vancouver? They've been looking for a scoring punch lately, and seem to have to have an affinity to picking up ex-Leafs.

If you trade Heatley, I think the Sens become easier to play. Alfie is older. You build with Heatley and Spezza. Some team like the Kings might part with a few of their nice young players for Alfie.

I'd like to see what he does before I reserve judgment. Thank you.

No no, I'm saying that they need to pull of a Chara/Spezza for Yashin special like they did several years ago. You know some team is going to bite on Alfredsson and hard.

Bruins 4 - Sens 3

That is all.

If they stay on this pace they'll have 100 points by the end of February.

That game was entertaining. Tim Thomas is playing out of his mind. I just keep waiting for the other shoe to drop though.

The thing that impresses me the most about the Bruins in their forechecking.

They never get beat to the puck.

Ship Blake to Vancouver for Mason Raymond.

In your dreams that happens. Gillis isn't dumb. If Burke could get a 4th/5th/6th/7th rounder, he'd jump all over it. Means more cap space to entice Bouwmeester to play in Toronto next season.

I'm salivating over a JBo/Tavares combo by next season. It's time for some luck to fall our way

The Leafs aren't going to win the lottery.. or come #2, so a Tavares/Hedman possibility is a pipedream. Realistically, for them, they'd be looking at Braden Schenn, Matt Duchesne (who is friggin fantastic - if you live in the GTA or close to an OHL franchise, check out the Brampton Battalion - who he plays for - entertaining hockey) or Nazem Kadri. If Burke trades down, he can grab Zach Kassian of the Petes - who rocked Tavares in the Top Prospects game.

What the hell is going on with the Canadiens? First the Kovalev situation and now some of their players having ties with Montreal organized crime.

Source - Report: Alleged criminal linked to members of Canadiens

Kostitsyn brothers and Roman Hamrlik

Doesn't everyone know that Monteal has a lot of mob activity?

I hear there is prostitution and under-age stuff involved also.
