Lose our best energy forward and a guy who has been playing pretty well for us since coming here (grabo) Gardier is finally getting a real shot at playing, and doing a pretty good job, and will only get better. Kule I don't give a shit, he can go.

Also didn't we learn our lesson of giving up draft picks with Kessel? Sorry but imo, Nash isn't THAT good, hes good, and way above average, but we need a legit first line C way more.

um...chig, no.

I just think youre wrong. He's a top tier, superstar.

period.

His size alone is MASSIVE in games that matter.

Not sure man.... but you cant say no if he can be gotten.

Personally I dont think Columbus would take the deal.

Marc Savard would be a guy I'd like for the Leafs to pursue. He'd look so sexy playing on a line with Kessel and Lupol, and his past injury problems might mean that he could be had for cheaper than usual too. Not sure what kind of package we'd have to send though...

Kuleman and Gunnarsson? Or is that too much?

Giving up gunnar at all is a stupid idea, the guy is going to be pretty good in a matter of time. The guy is underused and undervalued. Besides his injury problems and his contract alone make it a horrible idea to go anywhere near him.

I agree, but we've got a plethora of young defensemen on the team. Gardiner, Schenn, Franson, even Dion is still pretty young.

What about Kule and Komisarek. I'd love to get rid of Komi while also grabbing a top line center in the process.

Again, Savard is no longer a top line center anyone wants to waste resources on. Past his prime, injury problems, and a MASSIVE contract.

Apparently Nash has a short list, with Toronto included!

Quote:
Columbus Blue Jackets right winger Rick Nash has announced the list of teams he would be willing to waive his no-trade clause to go to, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

The list includes the Boston Bruins, San Jose Sharks, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
