well they've already won their division, so i dont think they are giving their 100%... look at NO or Indy - no one is losing any sleep over their loses.

and considering favre had a passing rating of 106, threw for over 300 yards, had 2 tds, and 0 ints last night, i'd say they will be fine when the game actually counts for something.

it did count for something....they havent locked up the no.2 seed yet....if the eagles win the game against dallas next week, they get the no.2 seed and get first round bye.....

do you really think brett favre and the vikings want to play the cowboys and the eagles in philly? instead of getting a week off and only having to play one of those teams, at home..they fucked up imo....they had plenty of chances to put the bears away and they didint...

Eagles have better offensive firepower and Dallas has better D than Vikings
I really want to see the Vikings play Green Bay cause I think their D and running game have improved since the last time they played

How about them Packers? Maybe the hottest team of the second half of the season.

The Saints' starters will have missed two full weeks before they play again. I think that is going to bite them in the butt.

Damn Eagles. Why must they dash my hopes every year. Well - they get one more chance. If they kill the boys in the playoffs it will be almost as good as winning the super bowl. They'll have to actually catch some passes.

It's all about the Ravens, bitches. Facing the Pats next week without Welker? Hell yes, let's do this. I like our chances in the playoffs.

Thumbs down

Whats surprising to me is the number of blitzes the eagles brought(very few) and they had vick in no snaps. Kind of surprising as whenever they pressure homo, he chokes. Who knows, maybe the eagles didnt want to give their gameplan for the playoffs away. I still think the eagles chances next week are good. Just be ready for next week cowboys, this wont be the same team nor the same play-calls. With this being said, you might call me crazy and say why would they give up a 1st round bye. Well, i think they had a feeling they were gonna face the cowboys in the playoffs even if they did get a 1st round bye. Who knows, we will wait till Saturday to find out.

most of you guys probably know Pete Carroll
guess there's going to be some incoming recruiting violations at USC

Quote:
Pete Carroll has reached agreement with the Seahawks on a deal to be their next head coach, multiple NFL sources confirmed early Saturday morning.

Carroll was fully expected to be introduced by the Seahawks as early as Monday, assuming they comply with the Rooney Rule this weekend.

The hangup could be locating a candidate to interview that would put the Seahawks in compliance with the rule, which requires teams to interview a minority candidate for head-coaching hires.
Sources: USC Trojans' Pete Carroll, Seattle Seahawks reach agreement on coaching contract - ESPN

on another note, playoffs start today
