really?
he's on a good team and he'll be focused
if he was on a bad team I would worry about his mental state
Philly needed a back up with Kolb injured

Jackson/Maclin/Westbrook/Vick/McNabb (any combo) on the field at the same time, one heck of a speed offense

agreed...our offense is gonna be insane....soo much fire power....and speed....and youth....this team is gonna be fun to watch...and to top that off, we have the top 10 defense...

please explain why?...i just want to know because i think this makes us the clear cut favorite from the NFC...we have a explosive offense and a shutdown defense....and having vick along makes us even better....

your offensive line is a joke. you're team is going to give up hurry-ups and sacks every second down. mcnabb and vick are going to be like david carr and joey harrington by next season and westbrook is going to be like, well.....hurt.

dude your kidding?...
Shawn Andrew = 3 time pro bowler
Stacy Andrew = franchise tagged linemen
Jason Peters = 2 time Pro Bowler and one of the best linemen in the NFL

the eagles have the best offensive line in the NFC and arguably in the nfl.....so before you talk out of your ass...do some research....

and jason please dont take this stuff personally.....i could care less what other people think about teams...i know its your opinion but before you say something like that make sure its a little true....

fair enough.....but if your an eagles fan you have to be excited by the move no?...and there have been players who have done much worse like Heatly, Jr Smith and ex-eagle Stallworth, who have killed people...so i personally think hes payed his due by serving 2 years and loosing all his wealth....millions of other animals are slaughtered every year but i dont see people going to jail and loosing millons of dollar.....so i dont know man, i think hes been scrutinized way too much because of his fame and fortune....do you really think anyone would give a shit if some thug on the street was running a dog fighting ring?...and i have 2 dogs that i love very much.....

you're right. i must have mistaken them for the jets.

with vick, it doesn't matter anyways. he's never used the o-line to his advantage. he'll help the run, but your passing game will be non-existent. exciting? sure. effective? not so much. i dont expect him being away from the league for two season and come back any better of a quarterback. pretty sure all eagles fans are kidding themselves with that.

i think your forgetting the fact that Donovan Mcnabb is the quarterback and NOT vick....and andy reid (the coach) made that clear in the press confrence this morning.....we have an amazing core of young and veteran receivers....and mcnabb is one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the nfl he had the least number of interceptions and 21 tds last season....i dont think you understand how we rse gonna use Vick....hes not going to play quarterback....hes not even the second string quarterback....hes gonna be playing only the wildcat offense, hes only gonna be playing qb on the plays which last year was played by a WR....so i highly doubt were gonna be less efficient.....in fact were gonna be more efficient if anything....

I actually liked watching Vick before. I just can't get excited about him now. Vikings all the way!

so the whole excitement is based on a player who will only play in a gimmick offence?

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is officially the NFL's highest-paid player.

A little more than a week after reaching a tentative agreement, Manning signed the six-year extension that could keep him with the team through 2015 and will pay him an average salary of $15.3 million starting next season.
Manning is guaranteed $35 million under terms of the $97 million extension. News of the deal first broke on Aug. 5.
LINK: Giants QB Manning makes it official, signs six-year, $97 million extension

i know hes important to them and hes a perfect quarterback for the NY media because he never takes anything personally & never shows emotion and not to mention that fact that he got them a Vince Lombardi Trophy...but dayummm.....hes not worth more that his brother Payton or Brady, Mcnabb, Brees....or that other quarterbacks from his draft class like Ben Roethlisberger or Philip Rivers.....i think they over paid for him but this is definitely a good move for the Giants...

okay
dude hes getting paid 1.6 mil year.....hes hasnt played ball in 2 years....and those shittyly executed wildcats plays last year worked, and now those plays are gonna be perfect.....and your calling wild cat a gimmick offense??....the dolphins went to the playoffs using that system....and of course fans are gonna be excited....he was the most exciting player in the nfl 2 seasons ago....and he still can be that guy, but i a smaller role....

you expecting vick to start ahead of mcnabb?....seriously?

never did i say i expected him to play in front of mcnabb

ideally, what i thought was that they were bringing him in to back-up mcnabb up and maybe eventually become the starting quarterback next season. that would explain the 1.6 million this season and the 5+ for next, no?

as for the wildcat, it is a gimmick. it surprised teams last year, teams are going to learn how to better defend it this season. everyone talks about how every team is going to implement into their offence. do you really see them using that formation more than a couple times a game? if they do, it's out of desperation.

Hell no to Favre. Jackson could be OK. They need to continue to improve defensively and they'll be alright.
