What if he ends up in Buffalo? Will they be any good, or will chemistry be a problem. I can't imagine Vick with TO.

BTW, how do you think the fans will react when he gets on the field? Boos? Cheers? A mixed combination.

Miami because of the offence they run.
Minnesota would be a good choice..as would San Francisco..as would Tampa

I can't see the Lions making a run simply because they spent their first round pick on Drew Stafford a couple of months ago.

hmmmm, San Fran?
interesting... i can see them spinning that story... Singletary (the tough-love, no nonsense, player coach), taking on the uncoachable Vick and making a connection that no other coach had with him.
it would work.

Him in San Fran with Frank Gore and Michael Crabtree...and if Vernon Davis could ever get his head out of his ass.. that would be a nice offence.

there was rumours of vick going to the 49ers a little while ago since dan reeves (former falcons head coach) is there now, but they wouldn't be able to handle the negative press in such a liberal city.

Default Jim Johnson, Eagles' defensive coordinator for 10 seasons, passes away

Quote:
PHILADELPHIA -- Jim Johnson, whose attacking defenses helped the Philadelphia Eagles reach one Super Bowl and five NFC championship games, has died. He was 68.

Johnson had taken a leave of absence from the team in May as he continued to battle a cancerous tumor on his spine. The Eagles announced Johnson's death Tuesday afternoon.

A veteran of 22 years as an NFL assistant, Johnson was considered one of the top defensive minds in the NFL, known for complex schemes that confused opponents and pressured the quarterback from every angle. His defenses consistently ranked among the best in the league, including last season, when the Eagles finished third in total defense and fell one victory short of the Super Bowl.

From 2000 to 2008, Johnson's Philadelphia defenses ranked second in the NFL in sacks (390). During Johnson's 10-year tenure, the Eagles made the playoffs seven times and produced 26 Pro Bowl selections.

Johnson is survived by his wife, two children and four grandchildren.

apparently it was his cousin/adviser that said this....not his agent or him.....there is no way he wont sign a contract....cuz if he doesn't, he cant work out for any other team because sanfran still have his rights, so i don't see how that would work....and i believe its his idiotic cousins fault....and apparently he wants more money than Hayward-Bay, who was drafted 7th and crabtree(drafted 10th) thinks he is a better player so he wants more money than Hayward-bay...

and for all of you eagles fans...all two of you and myself...the_ raps_analyst and tdubz....i got some shitty news....

Starting middle linebacker Stewart Bradley tore his ACL last Sunday and will be out for the season....this guy was gonna make the probowl this if he had played....this is a huge blow....and to top that off....rookie tight end, Cornelius Ingram is also out for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament(whatever that means)....

Eagles defense won't be the same now
Cowboys time to take it, wait, Philips and Romo are still in charge

Eli got paid recently
and the rookie contracts are ridiculous, Stafford and Curry getting $40 mil + in guaranteed money
one thing I never liked about the contract rules is that you end up having holdouts

Its not part of the 4 game pre season sked I heard

Bills and Titans play 5 games before the season while the rest of the league plays 4

"Each summer has most NFL teams playing four exhibition games (referred to by the NFL as "preseason games;" the league discourages the use of the term "exhibition game") from early August through early September. The Hall of Fame game is played first in front of a national television audience, the only game on the first weekend. It does not count toward the normal allotment of four games, therefore the two teams playing in that contest (usually one from the American Football Conference and one from the National Football Conference) each play a total of five exhibition games."

this is if were getting technical

Well, as far as I know, it was an exhibition game, 2 teams showed up, they played, the NFL sold tickets and broadcasted the game. It doesn't count in the standings..I would say it's an exhibition game.
