Seahawks NEED Manning. If anything for a backup spot and future QB Coach. It has been the weakest spot on the team since Hasselbutt took the Squawks to the Superbowl. Need a real pro's perspective up here.

or go to Houston Skins-don't think so. tough division already Miami already has a good D, Brandon Marshall, Reggie and Jake Long at LT. But he has to play Brady twice and the Jets D twice. I'd say its 60% Miami, 30% Zona, Skins 5%, Jets 5% |

then Flacco becomes the #1 FA outside of Mario Williams.
ultimately I want him in Dallas Quote:
all they really need is a WR (reggie wayne or draft) and they are set for 5 years in an easy divsion. Just like Manning had in the AFC South. Thing is Manning already made up his mind and will sign this week. Only place I know he's visited is Miami. Miami with the Heatles, big signings for the Marlins and now the Fins. Lucky to be in Miami now, they could experience those glory years like Boston had/has. Last edited by Windex; 03-09-2012 at 10:05 AM. |

Well Washington is going to get Robert Griffin the 3rd in the NFL draft.
They get St Louis #2 pick and give 3 first round drafts picks and a second round draft pick. WOW!! That is A LOT to give up. |

Rams hit the lottery. They get the #6 this year, and could potentially get some more top 10 picks in the future if Washington sucks like they have. Great trade for Rams. Huge gamble by Washington. |

In football the amount of picks are more valuable than the position since Pro Bowl players come from every round, even undrafted players. |

Mind the picks are still valuble as its usually top talent. But not a major game-changer for teams. They still have the later rounds and free agency. |

Please. FA? Washington has been trying to build from FA the past 10 years. It doesn't WORK! DRAFT, DRAFT, DRAFT. You finish your team through FA but it all starts with DRAFTING. NE, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, SF, GB, etc. Check out their teams, most of them came from building through the draft. Washington & Oakland are teams that try to do that.
First round picks are very valuable. And to lose 3 possible top 10 draft picks? That is huge. Ask yourself, QB is the most important position. If RG3 doesn't work then Washington doesn't have a QB. How many of the league best QB come from the first round? MOST. Sure you get a couple players who come from later rounds(Brady) but not a lot of times. Just for example, 10 of the top 15 QB in passer rating last year were first round draft picks. If RG3 is a very good QB, then this is a equal trade. If RG3 sucks then Washington set themselves back for sure. No first round draft pick is huge. How many QBs do you get in FA? Not many. Saints were lucky with Brees. Manning this year doesn't happen very often. Once you get a great QB, you keep him, and franchise him to make sure he stays. RG3 sucks then Washington doesn't have a QB for years most likely. How hard is it to win in the NFL without a QB? Very hard. |

Vintage Redskins. This QB better be the next coming of Dan Marino. They gave up way too much for this guy. Heck the Giants didn't give up that much for Manning.
Oh and the Giants cut Brendon Jacobs. Apparently he wanted a raise and Reese said "nah get the hell outta here" |

So the Colts cut Dallas Clark, Joseph Addai, and Gary Bracket. And apparently Dwight Freeney is on the block.
Sucks to be a Colts fan right about now. At least they got their taste of success already, they should be due for a good 10 years of suckage. ![]() |
