Tress even said he was wrong. It sucks because Coach Tress has been great here and this is a huge black eye to him. The local radio were killing him today and even a lot of Ohio State fans were not very nice. Not fun to listen to I will tell you that.

But like most have said just got move on and go back to playing football.
nope your 100% wrong and MANY if not every single insider on both the scout forums and Buckeyeplanet have reported exaclly what i said. Tressel did nothing wrong, he did what he was told to by the FBI, no matter what spin BSPN puts on it

Almost everyone on buckeyeplanet is disappointed in Coach Tress. I mean there is 86 page thread on there and I've read a lot of it. Are you talking about the one that posted the twitter post of one dude talking about a radio station in cincy saying FBI requested him not to say anything? We can sit here and PRAY and PRAY that one dude is right but I just don't know.

I don't care what ESPN said either dude. I know what ESPN is also. I live in Columbus Ohio I bleed Scarlet and Gray. I go to Ohio State and have been a Buckeye fan since I was a tiny kid. ESPN is a reality TV show now. I know that. I don't get information from there either and don't care what they have to say about Ohio State.

Tress did nothing wrong? Yeah he did by not reporting it which is his job. Now we can sit here and argue and say maybe Tress is protecting someone else by taking the blame(Maybe AD Gene Smith?) but someone did wrong.

IF no one did wrong you don't hold a press conference and present a major violation on yourself and suspend your coach for 2 games with a fine of 250K.

Coach Tress has ask to have a 5 game suspension instead of 2 games. So Buckeyes have now suspended him 5 games.

Sad day in Columbus. Tress was great but sad to see his career end like this. Right now not fun thinking about what might happen to Ohio State. Hearing a lot of different things. Hopefully NCAA doesn't come down to hard on us.

college coaches have to worry about much more than pro coaches...so many rules to keep up with and they have to worry about every dime or item a player gets along with grades and recruiting

hearing a lot of names attached to the Buckeye gig. Pelini, Gruden, etc....

True.

Yeah Bo Pelini is one, Gruden has been thrown out there, Urban Meyer is the biggest one though so far. Everywhere you go his name is mention. Ohio State won't hire a new coach till next season so that gives them time.

Kiffin and Gruden coaching the 2 teams with sanctions....should be an annual game
That would be an interesting series just for the coaches reactions

Ohio State should recover fast since they have no competition in the state with recruiting and they're still a big name

"anonymous" means LaMichael James and Darron Thomas

Aggies moving to the SEC. Noles, Clemson and Mizzou could make it 16... or 1 of them will make a 14 team conference
more conference realignment in the future. With football being king basketball schools are going to suffer possibly
maybe 4 uber conferences: Pac 16, Big Ten, SEC and a possible Big East/ACC

Pac 16: Oregon, Arizona, Oregon State, Arizona State, Washington. Colorado, Washington State, Utah, California, UCLA, Stanford, USC, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State

Big Ten: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio State, Northwestern, Illinois, Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State, Indiana, Nebraska, Penn State, Pitt, WVU, Mizzou, Louisville

Big East/ACC Hybrid: TCU, BC, Duke, Georgia Tech, Maryland, UNC, NC State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Cincy, UCONN, Rutgers, South Florida, Cuse, Texas Tech and the rest of the bball schools

SEC: Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, LSU, Florida, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Florida State, Miami, Clemson

Renegade Miami football booster spells out illicit benefits to players - Investigations - Yahoo! Sports

Miami could be in some deeeeeeeeeeeeep trouble. 72 current/former players link to a booster. Basically every good Miami Florida player from 2002-2010 link to him getting benefits. Ouch. This is really bad. That link above has some of the photos of the players. Not good.

People thought Ohio State stuff was bad, well not so much no more. Also looks like Ohio State will get away with no bowl ban and no scholarship loss. There was a meeting with the NCAA a few days ago and reports said Ohio State should be fine with the punishment they put on themselves(forfeit the season last year & 2 yr probation).

Well probation is going to be nothing here.

This stuff makes USC stuff look like little baby stuff. I mean if proven true could Miami be hit with like a 5 year bowl ban and 50 some scholarship loss? Something like that?

Some people are saying they deserve the death penalty but I don't see that happening again.

if you watch 'The U' you see people acknowledge that players got outside money for big hits, TD's, etc...

What a game between #14 TCU @ Baylor!

Baylor was up 47-23 to star the 4th Q. TCU took a 48-47 lead in the 4th Q. Then Baylor kick a FG to go ahead 50-48 with 1min left. TCU drove down the field getting close to FG range before a INT ended the game. Wow! College Football is back
