He can be a great Big East coach like he did at WVU. There is nothing wrong with that either. He could of been a legend at WVU.

Auburn had talent. Just needed a coach. A lot of people didn't like the hire cause they didn't think he was a good coach. So a little different situation. When RR came to UM the whole talent left and he had nobody to play his offense and he can't coach defense. Just a terrible hire by UM and it has set them back a good 6-7 years most likely. Look what Ryan Mallet did at Arkansas. Michigan is a more traditional program then Arkansas and if UM got the right coach Mallet would of stayed and we might be talking about a different Michigan team right now.

I'm not mad though. Since RR went there Ohio State got Justin Boren from them. His younger brother Zach Boren now plays for Ohio State and is one of the best FB in CFB. They have a younger brother that has committed to Ohio State and will be here in 2012 who is a OL. So Ohio State benefited from it.

Now the same thing is happening at Michigan again. They're going to bring in a new coach who runs a whole different system and have to reload again just like RR. Michigan fans are already talking about where Denard Robinson is going to transfer at now. Who knows if he does or not.

Michigan should of hired a coach who ran a pro type offense like they always ran. If they did they could of build around Mallet and wouldn't be where they're now. They took a huge chance with RR and like I said has set them back big time. I don't even want to know what it feels like to be in their shoes right now. With RR there they set almost every bad record at Michigan. Embarrassing.
Mallet wouldn't have been the same QB since the south runs a spread offense outside of a couple schools like Bama
who knows if he would be the same in a pro system

Texas has to rebound and get a QB (Andrew Luck, Ryan Mallett, McElroy, Cam Newton all from Texas HS' or CC's) and a RB

looks like Braxton Miller might get a chance to start as a freshman next year

Mallet still could of play a pro system offense. He has the arm to do it. I hope the 49ers draft him if he falls to #7. He can also run the spread offense like Arkansas runs. Can't run RR offense though at all of course.

Some nice QB from Texas for sure.

Yeah Miller might get a chance to start the first few games. He is enrolling in the spring so that helps him a lot.

I thought both teams looked.........good? Maybe it was me. They were beatable. Perfect reason for a playoffs. This year was perfect. No elite teams just a lot of good teams who can win any Saturday.

Yeah a playoff would be nice. TCU vs Stanford. Ohio State vs Auburn. Winners play for NC!

Also Les Miles staying at LSU. Michigan not having a good time looking for a new coach.

Today is the last day to declare and none of the Buckeyes 5 has. They kept their word and will not face their punishments.

Great job guys!

For now. NCAA has not looked into it and got their punishment if they want. Some believe they could hammer him. Ohio State is the one that gave him 2games and 250K. Now the NCAA will say that is good or add on after they look into it. So it could get a lot worst.

Also rumors rolling around 2 more programs about to get hit. One worst then Ohio State the other not as bad. The rumor teams right now going around the most are Texas and Boise State. Texas the one getting hit worst.

the NCAA wont give any punishment to Ohio St because there was nothing Tressel could do the FBI had told him to STFU untill they were finished with the investigation then once Tressel was allowed to report it, he did

Not really. Tressel was wrong. He knows it Ohio State knows it. There is a reason Ohio State suspended him 2games and fine him 250K. Basically saying NCAA please don't do no more we punish him.

Tress even said he was wrong. It sucks because Coach Tress has been great here and this is a huge black eye to him. The local radio were killing him today and even a lot of Ohio State fans were not very nice. Not fun to listen to I will tell you that.

But like most have said just got move on and go back to playing football.
