I just think the fundamental problem with this scenario is that you DON'T NEED TO speak any language to play golf.

they need to work on their drives, putting, chippingm etc.
And that's all that golf players should have to worry about.

In most sports I agree, golf in a sponsorship driven sport, and access to the players is manditory.

Very much unlike team sports.

But what if they have a mute, would they be forced to learn english as well?

No they would use a translator.

Why should this be any different?

Like whats his name that cant walk and the uproar because he needed to use a cart.

I love golf but I hate most of the people who play it, such old stiff money type people.

Must wear a colarded shirt, cant wear shorts, but of old snotty white haired white men setting rules to "keep their sport clean", same as yachting and equestrian. These sports are meant to be rich white people sports and a populus of the people involved do everything they can to keep it that way.

It was a slightly extreme example, but my point is were is the line drawn?

The money available on the tour and by sponsors to hire a translator is there, and one could be obtained easily.

Look at other sports and it is no problem;
Hockey
Boxing
MMA
Basketball

Why is golf so much better than these sports?
Its not...

Not better different.

When do sponsors get to spar or fight or have a dinner with the participants.

Hockey and Basketball are team sports, and most advertising dollars come from tv.....
