Dang losing Clemente is a pretty good lost. Still a talented team. We will see. Should be a fun year. Polls in BB don't mean much at all. Fun to talk about though. lol

Just hope the Bucks can make it 4 out of 6 for BB titles. Talented team but MSU will be tough to beat.

Jared Sullinger and Deshaun Thomas this year

Duke looks good, but does Irving even start?

Nolan Smith/Kyrie Irving
Seth Curry
Kyle Singler
Joshua Hairston
brothers Plumlee

Dang. Pretty talented team. I think they will find a way to start him but hard to say who they sit. Probably have Seth Curry come off the bench. Irving at PG, Smith at SG, Singler at SF, etc.

Adding CJ Leslie is HUGE for them. Got some good talent on the squad but some of it young. Might be able to sneak in the NCAA tourney this year but NIT is the prediction from most.

Also Ohio State held a private scrimmage with Baylor. According to Ohio State source they kicked @.. Jared Sullinger was unstoppable. David Lighty played a great game. Some of the other freshman for Ohio State looked very good. Basically this team is dangerous. Could be another 2006 type run!

He is a beast(Jared Sullinger). Sadly one and done again most likely.

On the other freshman. Thomas played well. PG Aaron Craft looks like a serious player. Smart player and plays good defense. Takes what the defense gives him.

Should be a fun year. OSU & MSU battling it out for B10 champions. O-H-I-O

Jared Sullinger put up 40points against Baylor in a 65min scrimmage. Pretty impressive since 1. His first college game/experience and 2. he was going up against Josh Perry most of the time a projected top pick in the NBA draft.

Rivals, Scout, and some other sites are hyping Sullinger up now. Calling him the #1 center in College Basketball this year!

Jared, Barnes and Irving will be the 3 guys in the mix for the #1 pick

looks like a worn out court

Quote:
EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Oregon Athletics Department unveiled another key element for Matthew Knight Arena designed to set the facility apart from any other arena in the country. Installation of a unique arena floor is currently underway and features symbolic references to the Pacific Northwest, as well as the two individuals most responsible for the arena becoming a reality, Phil Knight and Pat Kilkenny.

“We wanted to design the most iconic television presence possible for the University of Oregon by conjuring up a highly unique and visible basketball floor design,” according to Tinker Hatfield, vice president for design and special projects for Nike. “Its inspired by our beautiful tree-covered region and the UO 1939 NCAA Championship basketball team nicknamed the ‘Tall Firs.’”

The court is framed by a representation of a view from beneath a forest of fir trees. Also present on the floor is the new arena logo, designed for the namesake of the building, Matthew Knight.

ARENA FLOOR FACTS

Materials
• Floor is a Connor Sports Flooring Quicklock Portable Floor (The same surface used for NCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Championships)
• Floor was manufactured in the upper peninsula of Michigan in the town of Amasa, Mich.
• Wood used for the floor was donated by Gonyea Family/Timber Products Co., of Eugene/Springfield
• Floor is 6,944 square feet of Northern Hard Maple that is from an FSC Certified Forest
• Fabrication of Raw Floor took one week to complete
• There are 225 interlocking panels weighing approximately 45,000 total pounds

Graphics
• Graphics were completed by United Services based in Idaho Falls, Idaho
• Graphics took 2,500 man hours to complete
• Almost 2 miles of stencil material was utilized for the completion of the graphics
• More stencil material was used on this floor then used for the other 30 floors Connor Sports Flooring completed this year

I will have to check it out.

I can't wait for CBB season to start also. Excited for bucks season. Sucks we don't really play anyone out of conference. Buckeyes toughest OOC is @ FLorida and @ Florida State(ACC challenge). Besides that no one good. Probably will go to the Purdue and/or Michigan State game but I been bad luck to the team when I go for big B10 games. Last year lost to Purdue when I went year before lost to Michigan State when I went. Maybe I should just stay home for those games. haha

Dang that is some great OOC games for Texas. I wish Ohio State did that. In basketball you should. Yeah Bucks should have a easy road till Big 10. Could be undefeated if they get by Florida. Those 4 games back-2-back are tough. 4 of the top 5 teams in the Big 10.

but Texas will lose half those games until they get an actual basketball coach instead of a recruiter that happens to know some plays
