It'll remind me of a few years ago when Davis/Drummond et al were playing. That was an awesome year.

It's already shaping up to be an interesting early season with the pre-tourney's being unpredictable. Never saw 'Nova coming.

That was an awesome year and I think this was could be a little better!

Nova has been a huge surprise, they beat my sleeper team Iowa this year on the road. Big win over KU also. Great start.

R+B, enjoying conference play yet? Have to get used to some of these new conferences and nice to see 'Cuse struggle v. Miami Fl.

UConn has been really disappointing to me and still shocked (in a pleasant way) to see 'Zona @ 1.

Conference play is always great, still trying to get used to some teams in different conferences also. It was weird seeing Cuse play Miami. Every game is upset alert, especially when the underdog is at home in conference play.

Big game this Tuesday!! Ohio State @ Michigan State. Michigan State is playing great, Ohio State is 14-0! Big test for the Buckeyes. Can't wait!

I'm riding with Michigan State to give Ohio State their first loss of the year.

If I had to pick with my brain instead of my heart, I would take MSU in this one also.

Winning AT Michigan State is very tough to do, hard place to play at. And MSU was my preseason pick to win it all, so I think they're a great team. Payne gives OSU matchup problems unless Amir can finally step up and play him tough. History has not been on Amir side going against Payne.

Even though, I will still take it for the Buckeyes. Great effort. Almost pulled off the comeback and won.

Ohio State had 21 turnovers, MSU shot 11-19 from 3(OSU 4-18), OSU two best offensive players shot a combine 4-18, and game was @ MSU. Even with all that, Matta and the Buckeyes still almost pulled it off. Scott almost with the game winning lay up at the buzzer. So close!!

Props to Matta also. He sat his two best offensive players and went with 5 guys for the 2nd(one being a freshman) and rode them to the end. They almost pulled it off for him. At least the Buckeyes showed they can play with the best teams, that is all you can ask for in January.

I'm going to miss Aaron Craft when he is gone after this year. Amazing 4 year PG at Ohio State. I'll say he is the best PG to have in CBB. What he does is truly amazing and the stat sheet doesn't show you how much he impacts the game. He has been a joy to watch all four years, he is what CBB is all about.

I hope some people caught that Kansas game over the weekend. That team is so dangerous and right now very, very, underrated. They completely dominated a pretty good KState team.

I was just curious about Bill Self and why he waited until 1:30 to remove his starters from a game that was in the bag. Not a fan of that move at all.

Also, some big games on slate tonight. Heavens I enjoy this time of year.

Some very good games this weekend. Iowa, my underrated pick of the year, beat the Buckeyes at Ohio State.

Iowa is now like 15-3. They loss to 3 top 10 teams by a combine 12 points, all on the road. Very impressive resume they have. Fran McCaffery is doing a hell of a job there.

I was never worried about Kansas like I stated in the Wiggins thread. They played the #1 OOC schedule. Give them time to develop chemistry and get better. Looks like they're starting to click. Same with Duke, I think Duke will be very solid team once March gets here.

Reminds me in Kevin Durant when he was in Texas. A guy who everyone thinks will take the program to the championship, but have micro-managers for coaches.

But to me, the parallels between him and Durant in college (again for me) are a bit staggering. They're so, so, similar in terms of their development at that age.

What I like about Wiggins is that he isn't afraid to play D nor is he afraid to grab a rebound and get 'dirty'. The guy is going to be a star, but maybe, maybe not at the college level.

If he really wants to shut his critics up, he takes over tonight in Iowa and just destroys a team with a hobbled DeAndre Kane.

Is this Kansas game on any channel? TSN 2 says it's on but it's some tennis.

Joel Embiid is stealing the show though also.

17 and 18 the final numbers for Wiggins.

Embiid played well but was fooled twice into jumping into the pump fake, last time resulting in his fouling out

All 3 great games last night with the underdog home team beating the rank road team. That is why conference play is so great.

Tough year for St John. Watched their game vs Nova over the weekend. Was rooting for them, thought they might pull it off but Nova too strong late in the game.
