Wow, amazing day of CBB. A lot of great games, sadly Ohio State for me loss a tough close game @ Michigan State. But there were probably 7 legit great games that came down to the last shot today between very good NCAA tourney teams. Hopefully a early March Madness preview.

@ #18 Michigan State 59 #11 Ohio State 56
@ Cincinnati 71 #25 Marquette 69
@ Wichita State 67 #12 Creighton 64
@ #13 Butler 64 #8 Gonzaga 63
#6 Syracuse 70 @#1 Louisville 68
#4 Kansas 64 @ Texas 59(Texas was winning).
#21 Oregon 76 @ #24 UCLA 67

looks like no one likes being ranked #1

Butler seems to always do well in big games

Texas sucks this year. bad year to be a fan.

Who's the new #1 this week? Does Duke get it back? Michigan? Indiana?

no one likes being #1. FLorida is the best team but the SEC is bad.

So, I guess Indiana is number 1 now? Or does Duke go back after they whipped Florida St?

Such a crazy year.

Lol. #2 Florida got trash earlier this week by Arkansas.

#1 Indiana just loss 74-72 @ Illinois. It was 72-72 with 0.9seconds left and Illinois had the ball to inbound. Cody Zeller stands there and lets his player run right to the basket for a open layup to win it at the buzzer. 0.9 seconds were left!!! lol!!

#5 Kansas loss to REALLY BAD TCU a couple days ago.

It is WIDE OPEN this year in CBB, no great dominant few teams(like Kentucky of last year) but a lot of very good teams who can play great at times. March Madness should be CRAZY this year.

i have been so impressed with victor oledipo this year. the guy does everything and is super athletic to boot. i don't know how more people aren't talking about this guy. maybe because zeller takes the spotlight. regardless, whoever picks him late in the draft is going to get a huge steal and a very good nba player.

Right now, the team that would scare me the most in the tournament would be Miami Florida. Yeah, they're a different team at home than on the road, but when they're clicking they look like the best team in the country.

I just don't know who is the best team right now. Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio St., Gonzaga and Miami have all looked impressive but have also had really questionable losses.

It's a gambler's nightmare lol

so cards beat cuse in the last relevant big east championship. I godda say I'm quite sad this is happening. I always followed the big east and when they became a powerhouse it was so much fun to watch. cards, uconn, hoyas, marquette, notre dame etc etc. Such a great basketball conference yet football dictates how the NCAA is run. Really a crying shame.

Only DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, St. John's and Villanova will be left in the "new" big east with the final still played at MSG. They will take a couple more teams in with room for future expansion. I think Uconn will stick but its not certain. If they do they will be like the memphis of the new big east most likely

Notre dame, cards, pitt and Cuse are shifting to the ACC which will make it a really tough conf.

Not happy having to put up with duke and unc all year. Makes me wanna

Brackets released.

I'm trying really hard to understand the hype around Louisville.

My early sleeper is Saint Louis. They're a team I can envision in the final 4.

Saint Louis & VCU are two teams that can make a run. They're very fun to watch. Their conference title game was very fun to watch. VCU press is fun to watch.

As for Final 4 teams, as of now I've Ville(I want to take MSU though, can not talk myself into it), Buckeyes(O-H-I-O), Florida, & Miami.

As for Ville, they won 13 of their last 14 games, only game they loss was a 5OT game to ND. They had a tough stretch during the year, where they loss 3 games(Cuse(2pts), @nova, and @GT(2pts)) but besides that they have played great basketball.

They're 2nd in defensive efficiency. Pretty impressive stat right there. I forget the exact stat but I believe it is 18 of the past 20 Final Four teams were in top 20 in defensive efficiency and all the NC winners were top 20.

Silva & Smith are a good guard combo. Dieng is a beast inside. They're good. But I would not say they're A LOT better than everyone else. This tourney is wide open, there are 10-12 legit teams that have a good shot at winning it all probably.

Zags will be the biggest dissapointment. Their Home court advantage is by far the best in the country.

Amazing Miami won the ACC regular season and playoffs and couldn't cut a #1 seed.

Yeah, I remember their early struggles and where they really, really struggled. I think they took advantage of a weak Big East this year (Marquette, ND, 'Cuse, Georgetown aren't great but are alright and a significant level below 'Ville).

On a side note, fucking love that Calipari is NOT at the dance.

As for my Final Four, I've been somewhat consistently going with Miami, Saint Louis, Ohio State and Kansas, with Miami and Saint Louis in the finals.

I think I went 15 different ways before I settled on that. At some point I've had Michigan State, Michigan, VCU, Wisky and Indiana in there.

I just can't, can't, can't ignore Miami and Saint Louis for some reason. Miami have been really, really good all year long (hiccup a few weeks ago) and I can't think of a weakness on the Billikens.

The teams I'll say that are overrated are: Creighton, Arizona, UCLA, Butler and Memphis.

My teams to watch: Davidson, Boise St./La Salle, and Oregon, OSU (yeah they're playing each other lol).

Davidson hasn't lost in like 14 straight games; Boise St./La Salle have been really solid all year long and have played teams tough, Oregon had a really good Conference tournament and OSU is young and stupid (hence dangerous).

No respect for Miami. Do the Zags have a quality win over anyone (yes St. Mary's is good, but I dunno and they lost to a mediocre Butler squad)?
