I guess in Canada college sports isn't important

always though basketball fans would want to know about incoming talent coming into the pros

as much as i had fun watching that fab 5 team of rose/webber/howard/king/...ray jackson , the wolverines will always be rumeal robinson's team to me.

(i always put ... in front of jackson's name b/c everybody always pauses before they can remember it)

I'm a Red Storm fan myself (go Big East). Haven't had anything to cheer about for a long, long time.

I think the last time we made noise was like in 1998 or 1999 when we had Ron Artest.

Gotta love TSN2.

Anyway players I'm looking out for that will probably be in the top 5 for the draft is:

John Wall
Lance Stephenson
Perry Jones

These guys are going to be SICK.

Broadly speaking, college sports are not as big a deal in Canada. You're definitely right about that. There are some exceptions, though. I actually started watching NCAA basketball before I ever watched an NBA game. The NCAA tournament gets good ratings in Canada. My earliest memory of watching basketball is the 1989 NCAA tournament in which Glenn Rice played for Michigan. In the city I lived in as a kid, the CBS/ABC affiliate stations were from Detroit, so I continued to watch a lot of Wolverines and Big Ten games growing up. As I got older, though, I started watching the NBA more than college. But I still try to follow the college game, at least a bit, for the very reason you highlighted: staying informed about potential players coming into the NBA.

Personally I think if your not considered a lottery you should stay another year. Thats the least I would expect from undergrads.

Also, Cuse still have Rick Jackson and Scoop Jardine so not all is lost.

Thanks trane. John wallace also tried but falling short. He did beat a Jhawk team loading with NBAers (including Paul Pierce).

Cuse finally got what they wanted with Melo and Co.

I live overseas and I watch games on NBA TV and ESPN, they usually show 15 Raptors games

Top 5 in no order
John Wall
Derrick Favors
Cole Aldrich
Evan Turner
Willie Warren

Perry Jones is playing college ball next year and Lance Stephenson will have to spend some time in college b/c he doesn't have a great attitude, takes bad shots, selfish and turns the ball over. I think he had some off court problems recently

Cuse won by a hundred tonight. Good thing I watch the Raptors game and caught the epic first team to not reach 100 points against them

I spent most of last year in the DEEP SOUTH, so I like to follow the SEC.
Like others here I am discouraged by how few NCAA games are on the TV.
I could argue that I enjoy college ball better than the pros - more emphasis on the team game than on personalities.

For the season you get football and basketball. Last year it was 99.00 plus applicable fees/taxes.

I used to like them too up until Barkley was drafted in 2000

Evan Turner 24 points, 17 rebounds
