Amazing shot by Thomas to win it.

UCONN just won the Big East Tourney by winning its 5th game in 5days. Amazing. One of those games went into OT also.

Derrick Williams is a great player, hopefully he end up in a Cavs Uniform if he shows at the combine he can be a SF

6'9 240 SF with ridiculous leaping abillity and a very effiecent scorer (61 % FG AND 3 Point) 2.02 PPS (phenominal) 75% FT shooter

the best part about it? he was a 2 star recruit out of HS and the very last player on scholarship at Arizona last year, you know the kids an absolute work horse and will work to be the best in the NBA one day, if he develops a killer mentallity like Kobe in the NBA watch out

Buckeyes 32-2 B1G Champs

Ohio St loses 3 starters this year but if Buford and Sullinger come back, they bring in a top 3 class with the 2nd ranked class from last year, Matta aint no Roy Williams he coaches the talent he has, next years Buckeye team could challenge 40-0

That is setting the standards way to high. lol This team(this year) had more experience then next year team will have. I would put it at 0.00000001% of happening.

Also next year Ohio State will travel to Kansas, have Florida at home, and will play either North Carolina/Duke in the ACC challenge. OOC next year will be very tough and when you add in a lot of freshman playing early on that is never a great combination.

Big 10 champs, Big 10 tourney champs! Great season. Now time to add on to our winning streak by adding a 6 more games! Hopefully we get it done!! Can't wait.

Talent at the right positions can overcome experiance. i think you dont understand the talent they have comming in with matta's coaching abillity. if Buford and Sullinger come back along with Craft, having a True Center in Amir Williams and the top 3 Point shooter in the 2011 Class in Laquinton Ross is going to be damn near impossible to stop and they will be a more complete team then this year

Florida is nothing to worry about, Kansas is losing a ton of players, could lose their hole starting lineup, same with Duke, and UNC is and up and down team with the players they have this year not to mention Duke will have to come to Columbus

I never said Ohio State wouldn't be good. You are saying they will go 40-0 in which no team has every done and the last team to go undefeated is Indiana in 1976 when they went 32-0.

Kentucky brings in top classes(the top) the past few years and didn't do it. You're setting the bar high as he!! man.

Amir Williams is a great prospect. So was BJ Mullens who was a 5* #1 center prospect. You just never know dude. Shannon Scott looks to be my favorite prospect of the class. Him and Craft are going to make a great 1-2 combo. Ross might be a great 3pt shooter but so was Jon Diebler. Did you see Jon Diebler his freshman year? He shot like 20% from 3. Jordan Sibert was a very good prospect coming in(just like Thompson and Ross) and he sits the bench this whole year mostly. You never know what freshman will do. College is a whole different level and a lot of freshman take time to adjust. Some don't like Jared Sullinger but you don't always get lucky like that. DeShaun Thomas 5* prospect and although he has had very good moments this year he has struggle a lot also.

And you are banking on JS coming back. If Ohio State wins the NC this year what does he have to gain by coming back? He would have done the #1 thing he wanted to do and will be a top 3 pick. I know a lot of fans feel like there is a good chance he will come back(with the lockout) but you never know when a lot of $$$ is being thrown out at you.

I think Ohio State will be very good next year but I am not going out to say 40-0 which no team has never done.

UPDATE:

Duke coach K said Kyrie Irving could play on Friday. He practice with the team but Coach K said they will have to wait and see.

Quote:
""If he can find his comfort zone on the court," said Kansas State coach Frank Martin, whose team lost to Irving and Duke back in late-November. "They’re completely different. They’re near to being unguardable.""

"Sources told FOXSports.com that Irving is 100 percent healthy and didn’t experience any pain or soreness after his first full-contact practice."

""His step is a tad slower, but he was hitting everything and is already taking minutes from (Seth) Curry and (Andre) Dawkins," a source in attendance said. "And Duke is running Nolan (Smith) and Kyle (Singler) off the ball exclusively."

"Personally, I don’t think he’s missed a beat," Singler told reporters after practice. "He’s done a great job rehabbing. He’s a little bit out of shape, but that’s to be expected."

Hmm...I guess the coaches don't know as much now?

KYRIE IRVING WILL PLAY TOMORROW
Quote:
CHARLOTTE, N.C. Duke played the entire regular season without dropping out of the top five in the Associated Press rankings, won the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament last Sunday and earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament mostly without the services of arguably its best player.

Now hes back.

The player is point guard Kyrie Irving, who went down with a toe injury eight games into his freshman season. He will play on Friday when No. 1 Duke faces No. 16 Hampton in a West region second-round game at Time Warner Cable Arena. Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewki said he did not know how many minutes Irving would play against Hampton, only that he would not start.

We want to play the way weve been playing and integrate him into what were doing, Krzyzewski said Thursday before the team practiced. Hes a really smart player. The game comes easier to great players than other players, and this kid will be a great player. He wont be a great player tomorrow, but hes got a great talent hes got great character. Hes a very special guy.

For Irving, it has been a long time coming.

Im really excited, said Irving, who averaged 17.4 points, 5.1 assists and 3.8 rebounds in eight games before the injury. It feels like Im learning to ride my bike again. Been off it for a while. Im really excited to get out there on the court. It feels good.

ACC/B10 challenge announce for next year/

As expected Duke is coming to Columbus, Ohio to play the Buckeyes! Can't wait, will have to get tickets to the game. Duke is my most hated team in CBB.

UNC is stacked. Kentucky lots of young talent. Ohio State lots of talent. Top 3 teams right there. Duke #4. At least going into the season.

That is why I put them at #4. They have some pretty good players coming in no doubt. Lots of talent. Team 1-4 are pretty equal. Talented and will all depend on matchup when they get in the tourney.

Duke @ Ohio State this year. I can't wait.
