I've actually heard things different from what you're saying. Friend down in NC(NC fan who hates Duke) says it sounds like Irving might be back for the ACC tourney where he could get some work in with the team and be ready to go fully for the NCAA tourney.

Here is the article about him getting his Walking Boot removed this past Friday which he brought up on his own twitter account.
Duke guard Kyrie Irving cleared for basketball-related activity - Campus Rivalry: College Football & Basketball News, Recruiting, Game Picks, and More - USATODAY.com
nope thats wrong
he had his boot taken off about or over a month ago, but he had kept it around incase he had lingering pain (i read the Duke scout message board often about him) and the Duke Coaches have told players Irving is not comming back this year, i think the Coaches know more then your freinds

Duke coaches have told everybody Irving is not coming back this year but insiders have said there is a chance of Irving comes back. Coach K has all along said he is not coming back. He hasn't change his mind about that. He has been saying that for the last few months. He is not going to show his hand to anyone. He is playing the cards right now.

Ask any Duke fan of Irving and they will tell you he loves the University. If he is 100% and can go he will go. If he can't go(which everyone thought would happen when the injury happen) then it is cause he can't go. Different people have different opinions right now. A lot of Duke fans think he is done this year and Coach K has said that would be the most likely outcome all year long and some still believe he can make it back for the tourney.

I will tell you right now if Irving told Duke that he is not coming back cause he is going to the NBA then I doubt him and Nolan Smith would be really good friends. Why would Duke players love him if he doesn't want to play for them if he can and help them win a NC?

really starting to like this Georgia team. Their front court is huge. Is Thompkins not entering the draft, I am surprised I haven't heard any thing about him.

I'm loving how Kendall Marshall plays...he dictates/dominates the game so well without scoring

Marshall has turned UNC into a very good team with his play. A team to watch out for come tourney time.

they've got a very balanced team

Barnes can close the game when needed. McDonald can stroke it...Zeller and Henson controlling the middle on both ends. Marshall running the show

UNC would have a ton of trouble with a team like Ohio St
they have a PG who would stop Marshall from getting the passes/shots he wants like he has since he has been a starter

they have a Wing (Lighty) who would be able to give Barnes a ton of fits if not shut him down

Sullinger/Lauderdale/Thomas would out rebound/out muscle their bigs all 40 minutes because of their physical play

Ohio St has shooters all over the floor, Barnes cant cover them all

i hate UNC so id love for the Buckeyes to play them this year

Good day for the Big 10 cause all their bubble teams won. Right now ESPN has 7 B10 teams making the tourney now after yesterday. Probably will end up getting 6. Not bad at all.
