Im not entirely sure why, but everytime I hear that angels pictcher's name "skaggs" I chuckle.

I guess it sounds like some british slang to me or something. "He is a lowly skagg".

erm, we're pretty close to the top of our division.

Is it just me or is our division not doing as well as they usually do?

Yankees and Red Sox just aren't the teams they once were. It's funny, because people used to say that part of the reason the Jays had no luck getting into the playoffs was because of the strength of the AL East, and now the lack of strength it be the reason they get in.

Red Sox will wake up soon enough...too much talent/experience for them not to...that's why it's essential for the Jays to step on their throats while they're down
Yankees...fuck em

Just like the Raptors, the Jays are good....but are the best because everyone else sucks.

The redsox are going to wake up and get their shit together. The yankees will also go a roll later. How many times do those two teams have slow starts or go through slumps only to sit at or near the top by the end of the season?

I think it's great that the Jays are doing well right now and are playing beyond expectations, but anyone who thinks the Jays are suddenly favorites to take the division might be in for some disappointment later on.

I highly doubt anyone realistically thinks that. Besides they're only 4 games over .500 and that's with them on a roll. One bad week and they drop to 3rd place, under .500.....Like I said a couple weeks ago, wake me up in june-july, MLB season is unbelievably long and imo the first 2-3 months mean very little.
