Why....and who gives a shit. We live in a country where most think athletes in most sports are pussies other then one. But who cares? This narrative is so ridiculous. I would guess most baseball players would kick all our asses.

when it comes to playing conditions and soldiering on through pretty much anything, it's soccer players for the win.

Just that everytime I see Rugby clips they're soaking wet and covered in mud.

yup. In Russia and a couple countries there's a break for a couple weeks, but they go through the winter and games don't get called off for weather unless there's some brutal blizzard or something.

diaz' attitude is awesome, "30 degrees in the majors seems a lot warmer than 30 degrees in the minors"

Man, do you have any rants that don't somehow take shots at hockey and it's fans?

I didn't make any mention that they could not beat me up, I simply brought up the fact that 4 degrees really isn't that cold.

I was a pitcher growing up and had to pitch in cold weather and it sucks. Mainly because you are not constantly moving and as a pitcher your arm stiftens up alot quicker in cold weather. It's just different. If you're in cold weather but you get to run/move consistently it's one thing but it's another for a sport like baseball. Besides as said above it's as much on the league calling the game then the players who likely would have played.
