The baseball season is characterized by peaks and valleys, there was no way we were keeping up that hitting for a full two months especially against better teams. We were bound to hit an offensive wall eventually, I'm just hoping these younguns have it in them to tear the wall down.

the problem is that outside of a really good pitcher, the manager and some role guys, this team falls very short when it comes to character.

Hopefully i am proved wrong.

Jays lose 4-1 to Baltimore.

-7 losses in a row
-11 Runs scored in those 7 games
-53 straight innings without a HR
-Now 1.5 GB of Boston
-1st to 3rd in one week

We have officially crashed back down to earth!

Jays have fallen for sure...disappointing this is 7 left on base today again...the jays did have the hits...8 i believe, orioles had 9, they just aren't getting the hits when needed, just like last year's team

There's always tomorrow's game ...hopefully they do alright the next few games cause then it's boston again and it'll get pretty bad if they're still on a losing streak

still, winnings a lot better than losing, especially when we'll never catch the red sox now

1.5 gb and we're saying we'll never catch them.

People need to begin explaining themselves here instead of either just going with the dominant idea of the thread/group.

If we were to be told at the start of the season that we'd be 27-21 at this point, everybody would have been thrilled at the prospect.

Regardless, losing 7 in a row - especially the way they're losing - is a little tough to take.

at least the Texas Rangers are good
they finally have pitching, which hasn't been seen since the Nolan Ryan days
maybe this year they can make the playoffs and win their first ever playoff series
