TFC games are pretty easy going... there's a lot of drinking, but generally people don't get rude or abrasive. but i would agree with the comments about baseball crowds being off-putting to certain people. Same with certain argo fans.

Thank god they won today. I think they have everything to play for and can absolutely still have a successful season but they need to start winning games and series and changing their momentum. A dude i was talking to before the NY series mentioned to me that detroit didn't get to .500 until july of last season... i don't know if that true as i didn't and won't bother looking it up, but if it is true well that tells you something.
As far as crowds go TFC from what i've heard is probably the loudest, followed by Raps (i've been to games in november- January that were like playoff atmsophere) and then Blue Jays (even though i've gone to games and seen people sleeping. lol). Leafs crowds are crazy in the playoffs but during the season are pretty quiet from what i remember. The Rock crowds are pretty nuts but not sure if they count? lol

not really the point. The issue was which fans can get the most out of hand (see claudius' post) and from my experience the jays do top the list. Again i'm only speaking from experience, but i can see how certain people can get uncomfortable at their surroundings at a jays game. Raptors games on the other hand are extremely child friendly and easy to attend (which is fine). TFC games are also tame which may be surprising given the pre-concieved notion of what soccer fans are supposed to be like. I've never been to a leaf game since we had Ed Olczyk so i can't comment on that.

TFC atmosphere is only good in the Fan Zone sections. The other sections don't do shit. My friends and I always head down there, because it's the only section that actually starts chants. Plus, they usually play the drums there!

Same thing for Raptor games actually. I find the zones behind the basket area to be loudest. Atmosphere in the upper bowl is pretty much non-existant.

In extra innings yesterday, the Tigers intentionally walked Albert Pujols (potential winning run) to pitch to Josh Hamilton. Struck him out on three pitches.

Hamilton was the hottest hitter in April 2012. In April 2013, he's struggling mightily.

This is the first month of his 5 yr/$123M contract.

pujols ain't doing that much better himself. Bobcat was talking about him on PTS. hobbling in and out of the lineup like an old man. This is his second year of a ten year deal and he's already favoring the Dh position over playing in the field. Angels should be concerned about both big contracts.

10 year contracts to players over 30 should not be allowed imo. it's ridiculous

toronto shit jays.

It will take a while to undo the losing culture this team has. Just like with the basketball team.

That's why the supposed 'inferior' yankees with blue jay cast offs can stick it to us. It's because they believe they are good and our guys just don't know how to win.

Kawasaki has been solid since he was called up to play for us. Tough to put the blame on him for that game. Hard to win when you only score 1 run.

Our pitching has been looking pretty good since Dickey's first win. Hopefully they can just find that balance between good pitching and good hitting.
