Dawn, what a score.

K, I was watching Idol (yes Idol, you guys are missing a dawn good show. They just had KISS playing! all the big names) and I flip it back to the Jays/red sox game and I almost fell of the couch. 8-0 in the 6th. WOW

Idol?

The Jays aren't used to being on this side of that kinda score. Oh well, if they can win tomorrow they'll be in the same position as when entering this series.

Trust you don't need to watch that crap to see a woman in a bikini.

BTW, the only time that god awful show is worth even a glance is the tryouts when you can have a few laughs at all the morons, wierdo's and losers that think they can sing.

Fucking Jays.

Fucking Vernon Wells. His unclutchness is really quite appauling.

I think i'm the curse of this team. As soon as i start watching this team and believing in them, they fold like a le chateau suit. every fucking season.

i won't watch tonight... so do ya think you can win this one? pretty please?

Why would he risk bringing him in on short rest to avoid being swept in May?

Also, the during parts of the game I watched the Sox announcers were extremely complementary of the Jays and their players.

b/c you can control the standings with this game
if the Jays lose they're 0.5 games up
if they win they're 2.5 games up

I know Cito's not going to risk it early in the season, just asking

The Jays have a ton of respect around the league for staying a top of the division at this point of the season. It usually becomes a two horse race by now.

And I'm curious, what do we really expect right now? The Red Sox are a veteran team, the Jays are really, really young. They're learning a ton right now, which come July could prove to be valuable lessons. I still think they're more of a legit Wild Card team ahead of the Yankees and Rays (they're 4-5 starters are mediocre, David Price finally?)

I'll still say that the Jays need a big bat in the middle. Even someone they could plug in at DH. They need something. Everyone gets pissed at VW, but he's not a no. 4 hitter. Never has been, never will, He's a 5-6 guy who with great protection would be a top 5-6 guy. They need a legit power bat there. Also, I hope this shows mgmt. why Cecil should still be in the minors until August/September.

But it's early in the season. If this was August, then yeah, it's a move you consider. But why throw him on short days rest and risk potential injury with more than 4 months to play? Plus, what would that say to the rest of your staff? Sorry, we don't trust you.

Jason Bay would look great in RF. Too bad they didn't try and get him last year when he was up for grabs.

They did, LA giving up Andy LaRoche though was a good deal for Pittsburgh and something the Jays just didn't have on the farm.
