Yeah and after seeing 8 innings of 78mph bullshit, that's tough. Tallet looked pretty good again tonight.

Really?

I guess you were living in a cave for all those years.

The Curse of the Bambino was huge. The curse of the goat, not so much.

Why can't TSN send its own broadcast crew? Lame - having to hear about fatass Tim Wakefield and his trick pitch all game.

Of course. But i'm saying for all those years when they stunk you heard nothing much about the curse of the bambino. For both red sox and cubs it was really discussed in the years here and there when they had a little success but couldn't get over the hump.

They don't even know many of our players and are such bullshitters.

" That pitcher Jesse Litsch, i hear he's a pretty good little pitcher"... condesending assholes!

It's harder to hit in the spring and fall.

It really dances in the cooler air.

Why would anyone hate Tim Wakefield?

In a league full of pompous jackasses he one of the truly nice guys.

I also think the fact that at age 42 he still competes at such a high level is remarkable.

It's all good.

I'd probably hate him too if he wasn't on the Sox.

Wakefield will be able to pitch until he 50. His arm probably feels like a 30 year olds.

As for last night, it was what it was. When the knuckle is dancing, you kinda just cut your losses. Tonight, with a struggling Brad Penny, they should be able to get one out of them. Cecil will have it tough too though as lefty's traditionally have it tough in Fenway. The advantage he has is that the hitters really haven't seen him before and don't have a repoire on him yet.

Oh and Snider, likely being sent down. Good call, because he needs some confidence back.

Snider just has to get used to guys pitching around him. Once he gets some confidence back and starts reading into pitchers' tendencies some more he'll be fine.
