So what do we get if you're wrong?
Will you reimberce me for the money i spend on Jay tickets if Thomas and Burnett suck?

Anyroad, i just really can't see this team going anywhere as long as JP is at the healm. He's overpayed for talent, depleted the farm, and worst of all has NOT addressed the issues that have plagues the team in the past. Graunted last year was a very poor hititng year, and hopefully the offense turns it around, but i just think it's time for a managerial change. we need someone with direction/vision. JP lacks this.

Until Thomas, AJ and Glaus come off the books I don't foresee this team looking any different from last year. Injury free I think we can obviously better our record, but we still won't be able to carry NY or Boston's jock.

Get ready for mediocrity again this season Jays fans.

No real rumours on the Jays front Doc..same crap as per usual. If they make a deal, it'll be sometime in the spring.

Default Jays trade Glaus.

Pending physical
which may be a problem

TORONTO -- The Toronto Blue Jays are close to acquiring the disgruntled Scott Rolen from the St. Louis Cardinals for fellow third baseman Troy Glaus, a source close to the talks told The Canadian Press on Saturday.

Good deal...If just taking the steroid chants away from the team.

Very good deal, if Rolen can stay healthy. He's been battling the injury bug on and off for the last couple seasons. Glaus had become ineffective for us this season and also injuried alot. Plus I think Rolen's the better fielder too.

I'm kinda mixed on the trade. Glaus was going downhill in terms of health. Also, who knows what kind of effect the steriods had on his health. I like Rolen because he's a gamer, he hits for better average and is a stellar defender. He's also a good clubhouse leader. The one thing I don't like about Rolen is like Glaus, his health is questionable and unlike Glaus, he's got that extra year on his contract.

Meh, nothing that a little bit of steriods can't fix Hoops.

Meh, Barajas is just a below average catcher who has some pop. On par with a Zaun signing basically.

What's with us picking up "has been" catchers? Seriously, its almost an enigma now.

apparently it's the best that JP can do.

IMO, my favorite Jay catcher of recent memory was Benjy Molina.

Yeah, not bad for a fat guy. My favourite still to this day is Pat Borders. Man that dude had some jacks on him.

Screw that, the best catcher in a Jays uniform was Mike Matheny. Great defensively and offensively what you expect from a catcher. Shame he only played 2 years here. I think.
